correct. he is misinformed and just listens to his fellow sheep. If you actually look at the statistical data my a 5 mile radius per the census you will see crime rates are higher in the wrigleyville are including Murder.

Only people who where the gear in San Diego are Hispanics from heavy crime areas. That and Raider gear because it makes them look "bad".

Dude you can say what you want. Image means something. It reflects in attendance. Most baseball fans love the tradition of the sport and Jerry let his team be run by a hype machine for years. Because he knew he was the #2 ticket behind the Cubs.
Sad thing is even after a WS, new park etc. The only reason why it is getting closer is because the Cubs new owners are cheap.
Don't get me wrong. I do not like the Ricketts . But at least they were not the ones that ran MJ out of town and later said the Sox championship ment more to him than what MJ did.

I can care less if we are the 2nd team in this city. All I care about is winning. I got to see my team win a championship and hopefully someday I will see another. You can fill up your park and be in the "hippest" neigborhood in the city...I would never trade my experience of winning a title for your teams popularity.

Clearly, you just made a fool of yourself. The Sox closed the gap exactly one year since they won the World Series...that was the year after in 2006. Even last season when the Cubs had the smallest attendance in over 10 years they STILL had close to 900,000 more fannies in seats than the Sox. The gap. if anything is growing.....

again...who gives a **** that JR is a huge baseball fan? so what if he felt that way? jordan had issues of his own in the split of championships. dont think for a second there wasnt an issue with his gambling that made him take a season away. yes but blame it all on JR...go back to discussing your owner...the one that has a father talking about not wanting the cubs until tommy boy says...they come win or lose....thats a fans dream owner.

Plus, US Cellular is less than a 1/4 mile away from Bronzeville police station. 35th Street in Bridgeport, Armour Square, and Bronzeville is pretty safe. OTOH, Lakeview is a great neighborhood to hang around early in the morning if you like taking the risk of getting your shit jacked or being on the receiving end of a mugging.
