How that ? Last I checked bases are all 90 ft apart and mound is 60'6 away.. OF distance are all close to the same.. ive seen quite a few AL teams go to NL parks and win and vice versa...

DH. AL pitchers auto out never bunting. AL managers have not clue how to manage NL style. Clear advantage to the NL. Same for the AL. Legit DH vs a toss in bat.

Sorry but that a lame excuse. ..

Then your diminishing the talent of the other hitters, saying they cant hit without having a DH in lineup.

Both teams are batting pitchers which are mostly automatic outs despite being able to bunt or not.

Yea maybe if you have a bad struggling offensive team that relies on the DH but a team like the Orioles shouldn't have that problem.

Also, there no excuse then for AL pitcher for giving up many runs and it should be easier for them then if that the case...

Rays n Yankees were able to win at Wrigley, Just as the Cubs were able to win in Boston..

Its just as simple as the Cubs just happen to be better then the Orioles pitching and hitting for these 2 games

Why are fans of two teams not making the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season still having a pissing contest about who is better right fucking now. It is meaningless. Absolutely meaningless in determining anything which includes the most important of things at this point for any Chicago baseball team over the age of 14 which is next year.

Hey, dad. Is it OK if Dews and I have a bit of fun? It's called smack talk.

Sorry I just find it lame and annoying to see two teams going no where this year arguing whose bad team is slightly less bad. Carry on with your "fun".

It's always been lame. Prior to 2005, when Sox fans pointed to 1908 and made fun of the Cubs, it was lame. 1959 was before they were born, but they made it sound "recent" by comparing it to 1908.

Not in one's lifetime = Not in one's lifetime. Period.

Some people have never taken anyone off the dribble or played on teams with people they have played against. It makes no difference what team records are/were.

Sorry personally I care as much about being better than the Chicago White Sox as I do being better than Texas Rangers.

Yes, the power is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know about anything else Baez is or isn't capable of doing at the big league level, but the home runs are going to be something to watch every time.

I wanna see him hit CF scoreboard which was something I had always wanted to see sosa do..

Soler and bryant are going to be fun to watch too as far as seeing how far they crush the ball

I know I have brought this up before, but I will again.

I simply can not believe how many very catchable pitches our catchers don't catch.

It's at least one a game. Ball right at the catchers' glove, many times, and not caught. Castillo just missed strike three and had to chase it down to throw the runner out.

Happens waaaaaayyyyy more often than I have ever seen before. And Baler has been guilty too. Can we not find a good defensive catcher? It's not like we're getting offense from Castillo that compensates for his poor D.

Castillo biggest problem is framing. As a defensive stopper behind the plate he is really good

He literally can't catch pitches. How can he frame them when he's chasing after them. Don't fall into the trap of thinking a catcher is good defensively simply because he provides no offense.

Even now it's lame. Based on what has happened since, you could easily say 2005 was flukish. But honestly, that level of analysis isn't even required to call it stupid. These tallest midget debates are only amusing in that the people participating don't realize that those who aren't are laughing at them not with them. And that's only if they're laughing at all because most find it annoying and pointless. It's bad enough local tv tries to manufacture hype with this so-called rivalry. But when you see the plebes regurgitating this, it makes you realize how easily some are influenced by what they see on tv.

That graphic they had up for wada/hendricks vs Shark/Hammel since july 5th is pretty interesting. Hammel has been pretty crap frankly and Shark's 4 ERA makes the trade hurt less.

Wouldn't surprise me if a playoff type teams makes a trade offer for him in off season.
