Do the Angels have Anything left to trade?
He literally can't catch pitches. How can he frame them when he's chasing after them. Don't fall into the trap of thinking a catcher is good defensively simply because he provides no offense.
The Cubs can be a "playoff type team" next year, if they get a TOR. Why would they trade him when he can fill a void for another year until a second TOR can be found in FA in 2016?Wada smoking.. too bad he wasn't a couple years younger..
Wouldn't surprise me if a playoff type teams makes a trade offer for him in off season.
That isn't why I say he is a good defensive catcher. I say he is a good defensive catcher cause he stopped 26 balls in the dirt without allowing a runner to advance. If he didn't catch the ball it's more likely they got crossed up. He also was top 3 in gold glove voting last year. Just cause your memory doesn't remember it doesn't mean it didn't happen

Which is why I said eventually........Rizzo learned with a couple of years experience. Rizzo was nothing of the hitter he is now at 21

Why is no one talking about Watkins as the Util for next year?
I am talking about RIGHT NOW. He is poor RIGHT NOW.
He may have been good last year. I was encouraged by his D in the past.
But he has been poor THIS YEAR.
I am not talking at all about any balls in the dirt. I am tallking about the fact that he holds his glove up and misses balls that hit his glove, more than any catcher i can ever remember. So if you want to remember him being good last year, that's great. He is not now.
We've seen him at AAA. Nobody pays attention to the Farm outside of Bryant, Soler, Almora and Schwarber? KB and Salami would be proud.Maybe because we haven;t seen him at all and have no idea what he can do.
Lol ok. You seem to be a reaction poster so go with how u feel

Lol it's because you probably remember two or three and now u are declaring things. Sorry I watch and look at totals. Like I said go with how you feel. You are being defensive. I am just stating my opinion like youYes, I am reacting to what I have been seeing all year. Silly me.
I should base my opinion on what team he plays for instead, and think he's great?

I have O's fans in the family. They were irritated when Arrieta got traded. What is fun? Arrieta and Strop beat them then Wada went 6 innings of No-No. All were cast offs from the O's...

Wood and Jackson are good as gone, imho. They don't need to sign "1-2 FA". They need to get two TOR FA, which is more specific. In the off-season they are likely to get only 1 of those in 2015. Now, if they would happen to grab Maeda, who CSF77 finds of interest, then having Wada and Fuji around would help him adjust to US. Now if Turner can turn it around, maybe some things change, too. They have a lot of pitchers who came over in trades at the AAA level, not just RP.Why would they trade him ?
Being that he will be 34 next season and coming off a pretty good second half, if a team makes a decent offer for him they most likely will consider taking it and just fill his spot in rotation with a younger player like Jacob Turner, felix dubront, and or dan Straily.
Arrieta and Hendricks are definate for rotation..
They most likely sign 1 maybe 2 FA starter..
Then they need to figure out what their going to do with wood and Jackson.
So, if they do recieve a decent trade offer for him either by himself or in a small package, it wouldn't hurt the cubs to pull the trigger and get something of value for him..
