Surprised to see QB listed as the top need, even though I'm not at all a Jay fan. The Bears have a ton of other needs - including offensive line - that in my opinion need to be addressed before throwing a rookie quarterback to the wolves with this talentless team.
It's gonna take any QB you draft at least three years to be ready to win a Super Bowl (Russell Wilson is the exception). Pace and Fox need to take a guy next season or they'll be going into their fifth year before they can compete.
Every year they put off finding Cutler's replacement sets the franchise back a year. It's not like they're going to "get the team ready," draft a guy and then win the Super Bowl with a rookie.
The only thing I'd worry about is the o-line. Whoever they draft will have weapons, they'll just need protection. But if the protection's not there, they'd be better off putting Cutler out there for another season while the rookie rides the bench. You don't want a David Carr situation.
With that said, between finding a couple of linemen in the offseason and Pace's playcalling (he doesn't seem like he'd a put a QB in a bad position), the protection shouldn't be an issue next season.
Regardless of your other needs, if you don't have a QB who can win a Super Bowl on your team, QB is your top need.
