Pop quiz, already clarified what happened.
Right, you assigned such little scrutiny to PFF's rankings that you somehow believed a guy who made zero plays for the Bears (a team you ostensibly root for) four weeks into the season was somehow secretly the sixth best interior lineman in the NFL. You reposted that shit as if it were fact. I was willing to let you off the hook for that, and for getting Terell Smith and Terrell Lewis confused, but now you want to come in and be a **** so I'll rub your face in it.

You're a fraud. And what's worse is you'll ban me for daring to defy you and call you out for it.

And you don’t see the similarities? He already has been in 2 street racing incidents, one that resulted in 2 deaths while the other was swept up. Not to mention the other traffic offenses. It’s really only a matter of time for him to do something stupid.
Yeah, but people do grow up. Some don't. That's the risk that dropped him to 9.
Still think it was worth the risk. The career of the average player is 4-6 years, and if we were able to get that many years of disrupting backfields it would have been worth it. A choirboy can blow out their knee in game 1.

Someone on the roster that can wreak havoc in opposing backfields will have your team sniffing the playoffs.

This is funny, you bitched about Carter all draft process and then changed tunes well after the fact. Then you tried to delete your posts and got caught. And yet you will call someone a fraud.

Sorry I don’t want a guy to be good for just 4 to 5 years.

He is a pure troll, and I shouldn't ever engage him.

But this iteration of him is way better than the disaffected political iconoclast character that he was in his first go around.
Yes he is a pure troll that can’t keep his stories straight.

Coming from the guy who constantly shitted on the position of the draft pick that Poles got back for the #1 pick

Constantly crying that it would be in the teens to a late first round because you thought the Carolina Panthers were some ascending miracle then tried to delete it after the Panthers showed to be horrendous

Sorry, but that's often what you get

Glanville didn't call the NFL Not For Long for no reason
Sorry but that doesn’t apply to players like Zach Martin or Lane Johnson.

Let’s face it, he doesn’t have the balls to do something to get himself banned. He’s a good guy but not a ******.

Exceptions don't make for rules. The list of all pro players that were effective for only 3-4 seasons is much higher.

I will take any one of those guys except Jawaan Taylor, who has been bad this year no way around it, and Jalen Carter long before I settle on Darnell Wright. Don't care what I was saying in June. Ryan Poles is paid to know better, and he doesn't.

Taylor is probably the only one you watched play, and only because he's faced the bears.

Be honest you goober

Functionally the Bears passed on every player in this draft. From CJ Stroud to Devon Witherspoon to Jalen Carter. Ryan Poles could have had anyone, he chose to have Darnell Wright. I am going to hold him accountable for that. If you want to le thim off the hook for passing on a possible franchise quarterback, Champ Bailey and Warren Sapp so he could get Bobbie Massie? You do you.

This is disingenuous. He passed on Carter for Wright.

He passed on Stroud and Witherspoon for Wright, Moore, 2024 1st and 2025 2nd as both of those players were drafted before the 8th pick.

So what, he didn't get beaten on every play that means he's great? Offensive line is about consistency. Somebody who fucks up ten percent of the time is a complete disaster to have at that position.
Correct which is why his PFF grade is still decent as they arent stupid enough to just judge him on a handful of bad plays.

Oh I don't care if you get nasty with me, its just a classic move to pivot the point of what were talking about here to some personal referendum on me rather than the topic at hand. Dishonest move.

And yeah man, I'm just gonna say it....right now I'd rather have Devon Witherspoon or Jalen Carter than that collection of assets. Premium players, premium position, rookie contract...the holy trifecta. A veteran receiver who will probably be washed by the time the Bears are good enough to string two wins together, a right tackle you could've replicated with a street free agent and two picks ain't doing it for me. At this point you're hoping you get a Jalen Carter or Devon Witherspoon with that Carolina pick next draft or things look kind of dire. Quantity does not always have a quality all of its own.

I am with you about CJ Stroud possibly flaming out, we'll see, but if he goes on to be Justin Herbert and Justin Fields gets shipped off to Atlanta then Ryan Poles needs to be held accountable for that.

And yeah, I know what Darnell Wright is after four games. Its not hard to see and put together. Right tackle, limited physical ability, not averse to penalties and prone to failure at critical plays. He certainly is not going to be a Lane Johnson, and that's kind of what you would need to feel good about passing on Jalen Carter to get him.

Moore is 26. Basically 3.5 years older than Devon Witherspoon. You are not making any sense.

And right now he's about as useful as tits on a bull. By the time the Bears are competing to a win a game against another basement dweller he'll look like the owner.
