I guess the Bears will need to keep finding QBs until they finally find Drew Brees.

We've gone from almost ints, lucky TDs, rushing production that doesnt count to now diminishing every single completed pass that isn't 10/10. Fields got no help last year but it was still his fault for not doing more. Now he's getting help and it still counts against him.

It's wild that Trevor Siemian can make a dogshit decision and throw a ball directly to a defender in the endzone and he gets celebrated because Pringle rips the ball away for a TD.

There is a certain faction of Bears fans who Justin Fields will never win over and with some of them its only because he's the replacement of the great Saab Turbo Trubisky.

Sorry I saw the results of his game not you saying he threw the ball 0.3 seconds too late but I’ll help you out as far as my troll thread goes. Maybe stick in the undrafted rookie thread instead

yes ones that can quickly process whats happening in real time and throw with anticipation is the kind of QB I want. Fields in 2 years has not shown that, if he shows it this year then I will eat crow.. simple as that

Yeah I’m sure the fields nuthuggers will say that his preseason debut was great but let’s look at the facts shall we?

1) Fields is overly reliant on Moore. This is what happens when you can’t elevate your team

2) Fields relies too much on the short passing game. When are we going to see this great arm strength he has?

3) All three throws were wide open. Fields still can’t throw in tight windows

4) Still can’t hit 200 yards passing. And he said he’d be the first 4000 yard passer

Call me names, roll your eyes and drink the kool aid all you want but this team won’t do shit with Fields

2) The measurement of how far beyond the LOS is taken from the furthest part away of the O-lineman's body, not the closest part to the LOS. Thank you for proving my point, obvious penalty.
3) Making it even MORE BLATANTLY OBVIOUS, there are TWO O-lineman beyond the LOS.

1. The image shows that as Whitehair crosses the 45, Fields is in the act of throwing. So by the time the Field Judge confirms Whitehair is past the line and then goes to look at Fields the ball will be gone. Again do you not grasp that the Field Judge is unlikely to be able to see Whitehair and Fields simultaneously? There is a delay dumny.

2. What is your source for this? An illegal forward pass definitely requires the QB whole body be compeltely past the LoS to be called.3

not sure what you are arguing here that should of been called back but they got away with one.. it happens.

But the biggest issue is that the reason that it ended up a penalty that they got away with was because fields once again threw it late.

Fields processing in real time has been an issue, and on that play it was again

He was pressured and Herbert got clipped and was late turning around. So that is why Fields didnt throw it. JT got that wrong. No point risking getting hit on the pass when Fields knows he can escape and get space to make a safe throw.
