Ha, they can make a trade, I just can't see Thibs commanding the same deal that Doc Rivers got, because this feud is publicly known.

A lot of teams are going to be patient and just wait 2 years for his contract to expire knowing the Bulls won't re-sign him if they do decide to keep him until his contract is up.

That's the whole problem with these media leaks.

Also, according to reddit (reddit.com/r/nba) the news of the Rose injury broke before all the media outlets got hold of it because John Paxson's son was blabbing to all his friends about it. One friend was a redditor then posted it there... Reddit at first thought it was a troll and completely untrue news until an hour later the media started reporting it all. So, there's a nice media leak for you.

Maybe Paxson's kid is friends with Rose's brother and Ozzie's son, eh?

itll be interesting to see how bad the damage is once the docs get in there to repair. if its a minor tear like dougies was then maybe he returns in time for a playoff run. and thus the will he or wont he play has begun! :troll:

No schedule for surgery yet.

KC on 670 today said that the belief is the tear isn't as bad as the '13 one. But who knows..

He won't. Doug was a 6-8 week return... 8 weeks is when he was activated... the regular season ends in exactly 7 weeks for the Bulls with the first round starting the following Saturday/Sunday. Theoretically Rose could return in time for Game 1. But in all likelihood would miss the first round.

IF, and ONLY IF, Thibs were to be traded, you're talking a later lottery, nowhere close to his value. Frankly, I'd look at the Pelicans or Suns.

But would he drive the brow into the ground? He has to have someone play 40+ minutes after all!

Well not just that, though certainly that would be a large part of it, I just mean to say find a team in the west that is close to the playoffs. Thibs will be able to get them there consistently.

So now it's all of a sudden cool to question Thib's, and his fate, whether or not you support him? Seems like I've been saying this for a while now. It just took another injury for you guys to catch up. :dunno:

Well with Rose, I saw this team making the ECF at least... Now I don't see that.. thus Thib's fate seems sealed.

Hence my concern with playing players long minutes, playing the starters too long at the end of games, and not having the young players ready in case of injury..

With the exception of playing guys too long at the end of games, I'd say Thibs has improved in those areas.
