End of a disappointing era.

End of the unfulfilled era! He will always be remembered as one of those guys who could have been elite but injuries destroyed his career.

Stop blaming Thibs on this one. The training wheels had to be taken off and his minutes increased to get him playoff ready. Obviously his knee was not as strong as it should have been and it would have happened soon regardless of Rose playing in garbage time the other night.
I'm not blaming Thibs. I'm just convinced the front office wants Finals or bust for Thibs or he's gone. And injuries be damned. Its a excuse for them to get rid of him by not taking this team far in the playoffs again.

Nobody, at least from what I've seen (posts on this forum aside), is blaming Thibs. I know my argument about this is that Thibs will ultimately be the fall guy, but that is not blaming him.

I did not say you were. It was a general statement to anyone who is.

Oh yeah, Thibs will be the fall guy. I thought someone one page one of this clearly blamed Thibs by keeping Rose in the game the other night. BUt I have heard many others on the radio. It's crazy. lol

I feel for the kid, and I feel for us fans and the fans of the NBA. The league is never better off with a loss of talent like his.

Damn.

For me, it is like Gale Sayers all over again.

So I'm a Rose nuthugger because I don't want my favorite team's best player to get hurt? Everyone and their mother knows Derrick was the biggest piece to our championship puzzle, so get the **** outta my face with that "he's made 350 mill" bullshit. I don't care how much money he's made, no one deserves to continuously get hurt like this.

What amazes me even more is when Brandon Roy was getting hurt like this, I remember a lot of Bulls fans showing remorse. But now a member of our own goddamn team has health issues and people make fun of it, make lame ass memes, and even cheer on the fact that he's hurt again. That's disgusting

Rose hasn't been the bulls best player for the past 3 years. Nobody is celebrating he is hurt. Even in the beginning of the year I think gar said "we need to win not because of derrick rose but with derrick rose." He is just a shell of his former self and was never the best player on this team this year. His defense sucked and shooting 1/13 is terrible. When he goes on the hot streak he takes 5 days off. I am just surprised that people are still saying how awesome he is when in fact he was just piece of the puzzle that wasn't even the corner stone anymore. In reality bulls will beheld behind for next two years because he will be making 41mil next two years and bulls will suffer for it. And no way in hell he should take that meniscus out. That would be just stupid. Just sit out already it will make the team better since the players wont need to sit there and hope he comes back this year. Let them play knowing he wont be back.

I'd interview Mark Jackson and Scott Brooks before Fred Hoiberg.
No. Just no. No. No.

Warriors hated Mark Jackson. And from what I hear OKC fans really hate Scott Brooks. Brooks mainly has survived simply because of the great talent he has and has gotten to some WCF's and one Finals. Jackson could barely get the team out of the first round. Look at the change there, they're the beast of the West now.

Also, Brooks is still employed, so not sure how that works...

I'm also not convinced Hoiberg wants to leave his dream job at Iowa State.

Isn't Mundaiy projected to go in the Top 3?
Dude pulled a Kyrie in China and only played like 10 games. With our luck, he'll be another Greg Oden :elephant:

How Scott Brooks is still employed is a mystery to me.

lol...well his workouts will determine his draft stock.

Currently nbadraft.net has him at #3 and draftexpress at #4.

We only get the Kings pick if its outside the Top 10, correct?
