Just ran Atheon on HM twice. Got my second Monte Carlo of the day, plus another Vex Mythoclast. I've beaten Atheon HM about 6 times or so, and have gotten 3 Vex. It's surprising some people out there haven't gotten it. I'm sure some bastard out there is saying the same thing about their 12 SUROS Regimes they've gotten though.

Shotguns in PvE are monsters. On Cosmodrome Patrol, in the underground area near the opening spawn that has the three Hive Majors, I one-shot killed all three with a Universal Remote that is only at 302 damage. I three-shot a Swordbearer with it. One shot for the shield, one shot took him down to a sliver of health, and one finishing blow. Probably would have taken him down in two shots with my 324 Swordbreaker. Imagine Swordbreaker in VoG against Praetorians.

I don't know man, I just can't roll with the Shotguns. I had like 3 Swordbreakers and I broke all that shit down. I always roll with a Sniper or Fusion rifle as my secondary. Will have to check out my Oversoul Edict, Red Death and Bad Juju later on to see how the pulse rifles are now.

As for exotics I have had all of them except the Monte Carlo, Thunderlord, Hawkmoon, 4th Horseman, and Necro. I broke most of them down though as I only have one character and it just felt cluttered carrying or storing all those guns for 1 dude when I never use most of them. The only one I actually want that I don't have right now is the Necro. I have like 3 Crux of Crota's but those fucking Blades don't want to drop that Husk of the Pit for me.

I like that gun. The only time I have been in Crota End I was screwing around with a friend of mine and they said hey you want to go get the CE box.... I said... umm... sure, and we ran through the gorgon chest and boom that was it. Only piece of raid stuff I have I think... is that considered raid gear?

Which gun? You can only get primary weapons with arc, solar, or void damage from a raid so if you have a primary with any one of those perks then yes it's a raid weapon.

Oversoul Edict, it's a primary pulse, ledgendary, with arc. I got it from the gorgon chest, but i've never run the full raid, Either of them, so I'm not sure if people consider raid gear just the light gear of if weapons count too... Beast against the hive with the ability to penetrate their shield and cause extra damage to them.

only exotic weapons i have that I can remember right now are

Bad Juju (exotic bounty)
icebreaker (Xur)
plan C (Nightfall drop I think)
Super Good Advice (I actually had two of these but used one to upgrade the other to 331, think these were random drops)
pocket infinity (exotic bounty)

on the other side I have mostly titan stuff as that's all I play now, I have a 28 hunter as well and some warlock gear but I really stick to the titan and don't have time to run more than one char.

Oh I was getting confused because you said Gorgon chest. The Gorgons are from VoG and it's those harpies that kill your whole team if one of them spots someone from the team as Medusa was a Gorgon and hence like Medusa they essentially kill you with a stare.

You really mean the first chest when you have to run from light to light being chased by all the thralls at the start of the Crota Raid right? But yeah those legendaries you pick up int the raids are considered raid gear as that's the only place you can get them. I have the Oversoul Edict too but still trying to level up my Fang of Ir Ut or whatever it's called (scout rifle from the Raid).

Yeah, not the gorgon chest... I confused them. I think I got Plan C from the Gorgon chest... the Oversoul was from the first door on the left chest of CE where the light to light chase thing is like you said. But like I said, i've only done each one once, and never a full time through. SO I'm not the best with the memory. hah.

I keep hearing people talk about Fang, and I want it becuase I really want to have a scout rifle I love. I got a decent one but not one that I can use yet as my one and only type thing. What's special about it? I assume it's a Legendary? Isn't all Raid Gear? Wait... now that I typed that that sounds dumb...?

There is nothing uber special about it. It's just a scout rifle with arc damage. People just like it because unlike the Vision of Confluence (VOG scout rifle) you can max it out to 331 and it's a good all around weapon from a damage and range perspective like most scout rifles.

I think you meant Legendary? Valedictorian 9-44 is a Legendary Crucible rocket launcher.

So hidden in the 1.1.1 patch, Bungie now allows you to manage your inventory via Bungie.net or the Destiny Companion App on your smartphone. Going to come in handy so much. People won't have to return to the tower to switch out weapons now. Just get on your laptop or phone and do it from there while staying in misson/patrol/raid.

Yellow is exotic. Purple Ledgendary, Blue Rare... Xur is in the tower now if you have any strange coins. I would suggest buying an exotic piece of armor simply for the level purposes but some people may think a gun is more important. You can only have one exotic weapon and one exotic piece of armor equipped at a time. I am definitely picking up universal remote when I get home.

As for the mobile app, it was hard as hell to figure out how to do it on my phone because the gifs and vids all seemed to be for iphone but once I could I started moving all sorts of stuff around. it was indeed nice. My question is which I haven't figured out yet or tried to test. does this mean we can move inventory to our vault mid mission if we are doing patrol or story? If I run out of room for drops while I'm out in the wild... can I just move stuff the the vault without going to orbit? I saw that they said you could switch guns mid mission... this seems... odd to me. but nice as it would make the backpack much bigger?

Yeah. lot's of lengendary since that is your main gear you'll want options since you can only have one exotic at a time. You get legendary all over. I can't remember what level you said you were, but the key is to level up as fast as you can then do the daily's and weeklies and such on the hardest setting possible. if you ratchet up the level the rewards are better, also the high the strike the better. And of course, they should be dropping in Iron Banner and Crucible as well. If you rank up your faction you'll get some rewards as well as the bounty guy... Really... just play the shit out of the game and it will come.

Also, if you don't have friend that play, the "looking for group" sites are great for finding pickup groups to run the nightfall and such. Without having to worry about putting folks on your friends list. I've met a couple of decent players through there as well.

Sweet, finally got the Word of Crota to complete my primary raid weapon collection. Only thing I want now is that Husk of the Pit so I can start to get that Nechrocasm as I already have the Crux of Crota.
