Just bought 100 yards of mosquito netting. I'm going to replace all my screens with this stuff.

I sorta work in the trades, I've picked up a few terrible habits.. I layed up brick, stone walkway, poured the slab in my garage, two stone patios multi teir'd, built my rear deck including 3 brick columns, epay wood deck with no screws visible. Just finished a restoration of my 1977 Ford Bronco. So yea, done/do a bunch, much to the wife's chagrin, think she would rather hire folks she could yell at if it isn't done exactly right.

Cool beans.
Never been on a legit boat. Been on aircraft carriers, kayaks, rafts, and little fishing boats. But never on something like a seamaster or yacht.

Close to 50K, that's about the cost of full HVAC manufacturer installation on this Nordship...which I hope to buy after I dump this house. The maintenance costs aren't all that bad on sailing vessels, it's the services of marina's and such that add up. Those costs can also be minimized by investing in wind generators/washing machine and such. You pay sooner or later, the less you invest upfront the more you pay for what you don't have.

Next project: Fire Pit. Not sure if I'mma do a circle (more attractive, more difficult) or a square (slightly less attractive, significantly easier) yet...leaning towards the square...but, hope to start on it soonish.

Sorry for the lengthy delay in responding, didn't want to bother you when I haven't even settled on a manufacturer.

Which leads me into the perfect question for someone with your vast knowledge. Are there any manufacturers I should steer clear of based upon high maintenance or parts failing before they are due?. Speaking of parts, check out this self-tacking system at the 1:20 mark. I'd never buy this large, but damn...gotta have that.

Looking to build a fire pit in the near future. Getting some landscape blocks from +1's brother, but what else do I need? What do I need to know about this before going into it?

I just put one in myself.

1) Check the codes of the town. My town was 15' from any structure and no bigger than 3'
2) Dig down. After I dug out the grass and placed the landscape bricks inside, my inner circumference was 3'. I then dug down about 6-8" all around. I am glad I did otherwise there was a better chance of the fire going across the bricks easier and catching the grass on fire.

My cost was $22 for 15 bricks of which I only used 13. Took me about an hour (I had a bad hand hoe.)

Mine is going to take slightly longer because I have a lot of grading to do because of a sloped yard.

Same here, though the section I put it wasn't so bad. Make sure to use a knife when cutting the sod is my best tip.

Also the bricks are on Sale at MEnards for like $.88 each
