Thought so- I just put one in to a 79 firebird that I have been working on the last year and a half or so.

whatever that is you are putting it in may have to be registered with the F.A.A. experimental plane division when you are done.

sweet, my brother has a 79 T/A...my dad bought it new and he still has it.

this is what the body looks/looked like..i widened it an inch on each side though, few other changes..

So you have over 400HP and over 400 ft-lbs of torque..... how much does it weigh?
Are you going to put the interior in as well?

Sheet metal and carbon seats for interior. It will have a/c though.

I haven't got the scales out yet, but with this wheel/tire set up I'd say close to 2500#'s..

I'll never pretend to know a damn thing about cars, or what you did in these pics, it's just a skill that I don't have that I wish I did......but very nice work my friend. Please post more pics of your work.

Anybody have any tips on laying sod? I've done it a couple times with minimal success. I have a few spots I want to fix up that are empty with trees that I had removed. Four spots, circles, and in a spot in my yard that will get a lot of sun.

Do a brick pattern when laying it down, have each piece get as close to the last as possible. Make sure you water it well.

Got tired of picking leaves and pine needles out of my engine bay...

Replaced/made a new pedal base..

Let's talk skunk removal. Told by my neighbor today that I had two that went under my front patio. Going to redo some of the lattice that I have around there, and close up the steps with a couple 1x's. In addition, I have this skunk spray that I'm going to put all over my fence, and underneath the patio out front and the deck in the back.

Any other tips?

borrow a neighbor's dog. don't use your own dog.

I haven't seen them, so this is all unsubstantiated right now. My yard buts up to the neighbor's yard where he saw them, he has grubs - I don't. So they tear up his grass and hide under my patio. Lucky me I guess.

Go climb under the patio to find them. Find them, and stay with the skunks until they die, then come out and never bathe again.
