This is a great thing for them... they get a great player and him being overpaid actually almost helps them. Campbell will immediately be a fan favorite, and he'll be an A no doubt. The panther fans can't ***** about his contract because it's not pinching the cap. They may ***** that they are overspending and don't have money for other things, but with the cap the way it is, that can't be a ***** cause they'll be under.

Well FLA does have to spend upwards of $29 mil to reach the cap floor so I am not surprised. Damn, love The Ginger and I have never been one to whinge about the contract either. This surprises me with his charity being here and his fiancee being from here. This team looked clusterfucked when he had his injuries. As long as Stan has a plan for another puck-moving D-man it is what it is if we can also get a quality C. I am going to miss seeing The Ginger's skating if this is true. It really is amazing how fantastic a skater he is out there---no one gets that puck to the blue line like him.
