I dont drink alcohol. Clean body, clean mind

And yet your posts are so.. Beer laden, gin induced, foggy, hung over, mashed mix...

Just messing with you, Omeletpants, was too easy. :slap:

Hamm's in a can is my go-to. I appreciate better beers though, but I am not a hipster ****** "craft beer" snob. There is a reason why non "craft beers" are popular.

I go to a lot of events with free beer, I don't mind a bottle or can of domestic or foreign beer, I've always been fan of Coor's Brewing Co's, Killian's Red or Mic Ultra or 55 when I want something less filling. However, I cut my teeth beer drinking in Germany. When I want deep flavorful beer, micro brews are where it is at for me and I happen to live in an area with a plethora of Microbreweries and Beer pubs. In fact, we have the highest breweries per capita than any other city in the USA and have been named Beer City USA many times.

When I'm out at a bar I try to get a local craft beer...I also like the New Belgium's Fat Tire and Accumulation.

Oooh, forgot about fat tire, I really like Fat Tire, makes me even more excited that New Belguim is building their east coast Brewery here in town. It is under construction now. Sierra Nevada is just finishing up their brewery, $140 mil worth, and Catawba Brewing just informed the public they're coming to town as well.

When you say in town, do you mean NC?

Idk what my favorite beer is.... I mean the best one I ever had was a Red beer on tap at The Yard House, but I have only had it that one time.

Most consistently I will get Blue Moon when I go out to restaurants, but at home I never have the same stuff and I more regularly drink whiskey when I drink at home.

I get New Belgium Ranger IPA quite a bit. Its not my favorite by any means, but its a solid, drinkable IPA. It's also available most places that carry any kind of decent beer selection and is a bit cheaper than most craft brews.

IPA fans should check out Dry Dock's Hop Abomination. It is 100+IBUs. (Technically it is impossible to go higher than that depending on alcohol and carbohydrate content). As I said earlier, I am not a hop head, but this is one of my faves.

They just started canning their beer and distributing it, so I am not sure of the reach of their distribution. Worth checking out. Their brewery is awesome too. Super chill, tons of board games and shuffleboard to play. They dont serve food, but they allow everyone to bring in their own food or have it delivered. Allow dogs on the patio. And best of all, it is attached to the Brew Hut homebrew store! So you can drink beer while milling your grains and buying supplies!
