I’m glad someone finally is saying it!!

This performance was generational!!!
You realize you’re the bad guy, right?

Most others on here are trying to have actual conversations and be respectful, even if they disagree. You’re purposely being antagonistic and sarcastic. Good people don’t do that.

I think the "best situation ever for a 1st overall pick" narrative really warped people's minds for expectations. The Bears earned the 9th overall pick with their own record and quality of play.

That's the same position the Panthers were in when they traded up for Bryce, and apparently DJ Moore was the only thing keeping them from being the worst team in the league.

This is almost as bad as blaming Mooney for dropping what would have been a "lucky gift" on a hail mary

If fields threw 52 times today he'd have had 450 yards.

I dont understand why you applaud a QB for throwing for a bunch of yards without scoring any points most of the game and turning the ball over 3 times.

He needs to get a lot lot better, and a lot of it is on coaching. This coach clearly has no clue what caleb is comfortable doing just like getsky had no idea what fields was comfortable with. Tired of this shit.

I’m here agreeing with you and celebrating the best QB performance in bears history

Why you feel the need to be rude to me, I don’t know why.

I’ll send thoughts and prayers your way

How many times did he throw? Also 50 of those yards was a gift.
How many Bears QBs have thrown 50+ times in the last 15 years?

A lot.

How many Bears QBs have faced prevent defenses and garbage time in the last 15 years?

A lot.

How many have also had turnover issues?

A lot.

How many have had 360+ yards?

None.

No one is saying Williams has arrived or shouldn’t be better. But that’s not nothing.

I mean, I doubt it. But what does the Steelers QB have to do with Caleb Williams and his rookie development?

I did, but what in that post contradicts what I quoted?
Maybe you weren’t 1 of these folks that touted this stuff, but it absolutely went on and to act like it didn’t is silly
You know, the part where I acknowledged you might not be one of the posters I am referring to…

And then went on to accuse me of "acting like it didn't [happen]" right after. Thats what i defended myself against and then you questioned why. Well, there's your why.

Again, that was for those that don’t realize it. If you do realize it, the comment isn’t for you

What do you mean again? If the comment wasnt for me why was it directly aimed at me?

I dont know that stat but I'd venture to bet its not a lot. Most nfl qb's do not throw 50+ times often.
