Soriano just got taken out Friday for Reed Johnson and Johnson made an amazing sliding catch into the LF wall. Tell me that Soriano would have made that play, because he wouldn't of.

Who is saying that they wouldn't take Braun over Soriano? Everyone should take Braun of Soriano. You'd be stupid not to. However, Soriano is the better defender.

He is a good LFer. Just because he was taken out for a superior defender, does not mean that he is bad. He is the weakest out of our 3 OFers, as well he should be. He plays LF, that's where you put your weakest OFer.

Open your fucking eyes bro and realize UZR isnt this perfect NON STAT, again a stat is something known to be true, but you probably forgot that already. Maybe its his range factor... Get a fucking clue. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize he is a bad fielder, but I guess you know more than quade and pinella and you would probably leave him in and not sub for a defensive replacement which is what the cubs do and have been doing......I dont think that soriano is limited to a certain number of innings per game in his contract, he gets pulled because he is bad. Now go play with the NON STAT of UZR and prove your case on other players. All you are is an apologist, and one who lives with false hope. You can sit here and name all these "defensive stats" in the world. Do you watch him play. He has lost the Cubs games because of his defense. Misplaying routine fly balls or showing a lack of hustle. I look at everything from a coaches perspective so if I have a guy that is screwing us because he isn't playing good defense, why would I not take him out when the game is on the line. Keep throwing out your sabermetrics saying he is a top defender. The rest of us can watch the game and know that he isn't.
