Do people think he is singing live?

Negotiations with teams just started. Yesterday afternoon he had not made up his mind.

Do people think he recorded this in the last 24 hours?
Do they think he knew where he would sign before negotiations began?

As great as Bell is.. the eye test told me not having him didnt impact the Steelers that much - using Connor. I wont be crushed like the difference of not getting Mack.

The comparison isn't whether the Steelers with and without Bell. It is whether Bell makes the Bears better relative to what they have. The obvious answer is yes. All you are proving with the above is that Connor is likely a better fit for this O as well as he is also a dual threat RB unlike Howard.

They are 15 million guaranteed when draft picks and UDFAs can give you the same production for like 2 million guaranteed.

And again now is the time to spend on a top RB since your QB is cheap. 45 million guaranteed over the final 3 years of Trubs rookie deal is not a deal breaker.

The NFL doesnt stay the same. Teams are improving and we spent 15 million to basically be no better offer than we started FA with. We had the cap to do more.

Are RB's worth that kind of money?

What did James Connor make?

Yeah well, I have.

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/chicago-bears/cap/

We have 24 million in cap space and that includes Skrine. So if we never signed him, it would have been 28 million in cap space. More than enough to fit Bell in this year.

In 2020, we have 9.4 million but that is with ARob counting 15 million and Prince, 10 million and Long 9.4 million. So you can pretty much cover Bell's salary by cutting one of those guys and if you think either of them is worth more than Bell then I think you are dreaming.

This doesn't even get into other moves that can be made like move around money on some of the bigger contracts. The money is there. Just a question of whether the will is there as well.

If we had few players to sign over the next 3 years it’d be more realistic.

We have no idea what Bell wants and ultimately what it will take to sign.

We don’t know if the Bears even want Bell.

This is all shitty fan speculation.

RBs who get over 1,800 yards from scrimmage, yes. Connor is still on rookie deal so your question is silly. It would be like asking what Mahomes made on his rookie deal vs what he could make as a FA.

Schefter -"Le’Veon Bell: 4 years, $52.5 million with the Jets, per source."

Duh, it is fan speculation, no one said otherwise. I never said the Bears wanted Bell. I am saying I wanted Bell and we had the money to make it happen.

Ingram and Coleman should sign pretty quickly now. Sounding like Ravens will get Ingram and probably GB gets Coleman or whoever else that was in on Bell and/or Ingram will get Coleman.
