i'd rather have more versatility at safety than amos being back locked in for the next 4-5 yrs. my top choice would be to go after gipson which gives pagano added versatility and allows him to mix it up and wreak more havoc...

Amos was forced to play Eddie Jackson’s role in the playoffs, that is why he had a couple bad plays. He can’t do what Jackson does.

I would still gladly have him back. When he is in his role he is good at what he does.

As for Gipson, I am not are he makes more than Amos, he is older and has made his money. I think he may be more elective than the first big offer that comes.

If he’s ring chasing that could work in our favor

Darian Stewart is getting up there, but he is a pretty versatile player, would come cheap, and wouldn't risk a comp pick for Amos.

Now the Bears are a ring chasers destination?? Howd that happen?

12-4, young team, new coach, loaded defense, improving QB...

NFL Free Agency is on the 11th (negotiating period). Last year, the Allen Robinson signing happened on the night of the negotiating period. So Monday is when all the action will begin.

Raiders are trading a third- and a fifth-round pick to the Steelers for WR Antonio Brown, per source.

Good pick up for them. I thought they would have to give away a One. So they cleared Macks and Coopers Cap space to get this guy and still have a bunch of high picks to get some more talent. Pretty good if they draft well. Not looking forward to that London game now especially if we don't have solid corners and safety help.

Let's just hope the Raiders don't screw up that 2nd rd pick they gave the Bears. I was planning on that being a #33-42 in the 2020 draft. Here's to them sucking in 2019 again, cheers.

They will suck again. That team is still a dumpster fire. This will have the same impact as when they traded for Randy Moss.

Adrian Amos would seemingly be an ideal fit for the #Giants as a replacement for Landon Collins, but I’m told per #NFL sources that a robust market is developing for former #Bears safety with several teams showing interest.

Which begs the question - why would you replace Collins with Amos? Unless they think Amos will come cheaper?

All things equal, I'd take Collins and his turnovers over Amos any day.

The Steelers are going to lose their 2 best players and get

3rd
5th
21 million in dead money

What happened to that franchise?

They let Mike Tomlin lose all control of the locker room. They made their bed, they can sleep in it. All of the distractions came to a boiling point and they couldn't keep a lid on it. They would be better served by tearing it down and starting over.

I would bet they still win the AFC North next year. They will re load with more draft talent. This isn't the fall of the Steelers
