So no market for Fields means the Bears should just stick with him? That makes zero sense.

Might just turn into a Trubisky situation

They won't pick up the option and he'll spend his last season here with a rookie QB (hopefully CW)

I mean, there are going to be QB needy teams. Not everyone is going to find their QB. If Cousins doesn't end up back in Minnesota, they're going to need a QB. If Russell Wilson signs with the Steelers, the Broncos are going to need a QB.

There will be a market for Fields. It just looks like it has been determined that other QBs need to be off the board first. The league has spoken.

And as far as rookies go, how many of them are going to start year 1? 2, maybe 3 of them? JJ McCarthy isn't starting year one. I find it hard to believe anyone is also going to hand the keys over to Nix and Penix year one, too.
Fit matters. Sean Payton is not going to want Fields. That shouldn't be up for debate. I'd guess Kevin O'Connell would feel the same way.

So yes, Minnesota and Denver would have holes at QB, but that doesn't mean they'd pursue Fields.

I think Pittsburgh was our best shot to unload Fields without giving him away for basically nothing.

What if Ryan Poles 4D Chesses this shit and signs Russell Wilson to league minimum so that the Bears can trade Fields for a 2nd...

Still the same ratio of teams that need QBs and QBs available. 10:10 more or less

Chic, NE, WAS, NYG, ATL, MIN, DEN, LV, PIT, TB

Fields Cousins Mayfield Wilson Williams Maye Daniels Penix McCarthy Nix

Some of those teams might roll with what they've got (NYG? PIT?) and some of those guys might be drafted to be backups. But the ratio really hasn't changed.
Some of those rookies will not be starting in 2024, at least not right away

With all the cuts taking place and franchise tag over lots of fa rb and safety available. Prob a good thing to target that in fa and can get a favorable short term deal done

Justin Simmons would be good here. Dont know if Poles would pay a 30 year old safety though

George McCaskey loves morons like you.

How much money have you spent on going to games, jerseys etc?
Huh? Fans that don't believe the hype on Cowboy CeeDubz? Yeah, give me Fields and MHJ all day plus da haul, all day, every day.

And, check this, it is fans like you and me who argue over a football game and team on a message board who McCaskey loves. I mean, are you self-aware enough to know what you do? Pay attention, that trade is coming soon.
