Per source, the Bears have finalized their deal with LB Danny Trevathan. #Bears #NFL
I hope they spell his name correct on the contract.

Sounds like price tag on LB Danny Trevathan is going to be at or just a little above $7 million per season. That's not a surprise.

not bad tbh.

That is pretty reasonable if you ask me.

Re-watching Danny Trevathan tape. #Bears are about to get a good one. So underrated in coverage.

Adam Caplan ‏@caplannfl now
#Eagles announced CB Leodis McKelvin agreed to terms on 2-year deal.

Ravens have agreed in principle to a deal with TE Benjamin Watson. (via @jamisonhensley and multiple reports)

Danny had 16 passes defended and 5 picks in the 2 years that he played full seasons. Pretty Damn solid

That would be ~10th highest paid ILB. I was expecting him to be a little more expensive.

If that is true the Bears need to up the cost for intradivisional trade. That is one that could really come back to bite you in the ass.

If the Bears get Trevathan for 4/30 I am going to be thrilled. Good player and a great price.

you were the first one to write that the guaranteed money malik will get from other teams is more than the 30mm your source said the bears willing to to. However, your make or break credibility is if wed or th the bears sign one dl and one corner which is what you wrote early on that they would. At this point i am willing to believe you until we find out if this prediction happens.

lol

If the numbers are as reported Trevathan deal is a good deal for the Bears. Just shows he really wants to play here that's the kind of signing we need

GatorMike reported the Bears offered 30MM in guaranteed money and another team offered 40MM absolutely no other sources have reported anything about guaranteed money. These rumors never include guaranteed money but his did.

correct Suhey, Pace got aggressive put up 30 million then drew a line in the sand. They went back to Bears saying we got 40++ can you beat it MJ really wants to play for Foxy etc....
Pace said I'll load up contract with 2x the normal incentives but not budging on Gurantee past 30 mil
They didn't take it.

Very good value on Trevathan, if the ~7mil per reports are true. I was expecting 8-9.
