But, why? Hodor was easily the dopest DJ on the show. This shit sucks; we've lost a pornstar and now a DJ. Fuck dem producers.

I am totally lost with what is going on with Brandon Stark. That shit is confusing as hell but I loved the Hold Door scenario.

They do a poor job of relating to the viewers what was going on with Bran and the 3-eyed Raven.

What Bran learns from the 3-eyed Raven dude is that the trees all hold a living memory of the world and Bran being the GOATest of all time GOAT Warg is capable of seeing the past through the tree-memory and apparently influencing it like what happened to Hodor.

In his training Bran both learns about the memory stuff as well as learning to warg into many animals and learns how to control them, they didn't really delve into this in the show.

Pretty sure Bran will have a role to play in controlling Dany's dragons so they can be used effectively to battle the Wights and I also think Bran will delve into what happened at the Tower of Joy now that the 3-eyed raven isn't holding him back. He will find out that Jon is the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targearyan which will likely influence alot assuming he gets this information out.

Somehow, I think Benjen Stark is going to appear and re-unite with his nephew, Jon and niece, Sansa. They mentioned him to lure Jon to the murder spot and the murderers knew how much Jon valued and loved his uncle. Maybe he will bring the fire glass stuff with him before they battle the white walkers?

One of the theories is that Benjen Stark is a character in the books called "Coldhands".... I think Coldhands will show up in the next episode to help Meera and Bran get back to the Wall. Bran may or may not find out that the hooded wight-like thing helping him is his Uncle Benjen.

GRRM said that Benjen is not Coldhands. Could be smokescreen? Idk.

Can a book reader correct me if I'm wrong but I remember the Night's King being created by the 13th Lord Commander sleeping with a female white walker? However, in the show it is now showing the Children of the Forest creating the Night's King. That is a major change.

Yeah could easily be smoke screen, they also tried to tell us Jon was DEAD and we all knew he wasn't.

I don't know that we saw the Night King being created in that scene Supra.... I think it was a general thing that the Children of the Forrest created the Wights to fight humans. They did not show that dude become the Night King, they just showed his eyes turn blue.

I don't think that was the origin of the Night King, just the Wights as a whole.

Spartan?

I'm gonna have to rewatch it. That would make more sense. Them creating the white walkers wouldn't go against the legend of the Night's King being the 13th Lord Commander.

God damn it Pigeon Fucker, those are walkers, not wights. The Wights are the zombies the Walkers control.

I thought it was opposite in his terminology.... Walkers being the zombies and Wights being the more sentient more dangerous kin to the Walkers.

Wights vs Wight Walkers.... I could certainly be wrong in my recollection doe.

It is said that Coldhands has been dead for several hundred years which would eliminate Benjen as a possibility. And they've yet to introduce him as well and skipped over his scenes from the book as well. I believe I read that one of the producers said he wouldn't be in the show.

More importantly though is that Bran has now shown the ability to affect the past when he visits the past. Ned Stark heard him yell in the fight scene and now he created the time loop with Hodor.

Where does it say Coldhands has been dead for several hundred years?

That info was definitely not in the books.... Coldhands is only in like 2 or 3 spots in the books even and he doesn't really talk or explain himself.

In any case, someone is gonna have to help Meera drag Bran's lame ass back unless he can time loop himself from climbing that wall and get his legs working again.

Leaf, the child of the forest Bran meets at the cave of the Last Greenseer, says of Coldhands: "They killed him long ago." Will, Waymar Royce and Benjen Stark died/went missing only two years prior, a small amount of time for someone over 200 years old
