Those creepy Children of the Forest will be back, and they'll end up creating a new Night King. Bran's mark will go away though, as this new guy will not be able to see him through that.

Think they're all gone. You seem to also forget they eventually allied with man after creating NK, seeing the err of their ways when they could not control the monster they created.

You literally cannot go south without going through Moat Cailin. The Night King couldn't just bypass it and go rampaging across the continent, then circle back up. Moreover, the Night King was gunning for Bran. Even if the geography permitted it, there's no way he just ignores the Three-Eyed Raven to go on an extended wight-making expedition.

http://quartermaester.info/

A traditional army can't go South because of the terrain. An undead army isn't going to be concerned with a bog, marsh, or other terrain that humans may have issues traversing because you can't go through uncleared forest or land with horses, wagons, and other supplies.

The whole western side of Moat Cailin is not really blocked by water. Further the 3 towers are more decayed coming from the North than they are coming from the South.

Finally as I said about Bran, the NK waited 8k years. He can mop up all the areas between Winterfell and Moat Cailin including White Harbor which is the largest city in the North and has a harbor with ships. Probably not a good idea to let the dude with an undead army get access to ships.

I would hate that very much. Where does it come from?

I hesitate to say it definitely won't happen after seeing how the War against the Dead went. If that taught me anything it's that these writers are going for shock value. I think the way the story was being told by Martin, everything meant something. You could see where it was going and there would be very little variation based on the fact he took the time to go so in depth with the story telling. Don't know if the books will ever be finished now but I have to believe it would depict the great war very differently as well as who sits on the throne in the end.

With the show, they've had a long run and, at times, went very slow as to tell the same story. Now it seems like a rush to a shortened finish line where they're not concerned with where the story was headed, but just trying to outguess the viewers and go for shock value.

Still there's some things in your spoiler that I think are too outrageous even for TV writers.

For 1, Jamie has already betrayed his own sister who bore his children. Don't see any going back to her now so why betray the other side as well?
Euron's fleet? Didn't dickless and his sister just take it back?

Bran, King of the 7 kingdoms? He's not Bran any more and he's not really 3 eyed Raven anymore so....... why? You're just left with a creepy annoying ****.

Jon take the black again? For what purpose exactly? NK and his army are dead.

Guess the other things could happen but....meh, it'd be kinda pathetic.

For 1, Jamie has already betrayed his own sister who bore his children. Don't see any going back to her now so why betray the other side as well?

Jamie fulfilled his promise because he took the WW threat seriously. Not much was said about what he would do afterwards.

Euron's fleet? Didn't dickless and his sister just take it back?

No, theon just rescued Yara, they din't retake the fleet.

Bran, King of the 7 kingdoms? He's not Bran any more and he's not really 3 eyed Raven anymore so....... why? You're just left with a creepy annoying ****.

Agreed

Jon take the black again? For what purpose exactly? NK and his army are dead.

Makes no sense to me either.

I agree, the scary part is this guy nailed the episode three spoilers

Regarding the above in spoiler tags, the writers have done a really good job with misdirection and keeping things pretty hush that have substance since the leaks last year. I'm more hesitant to take any rumors seriously for the last few episodes.

Again, where is that number from because I don't remember getting such a number when Dany got Dothraki to join her.

I think the number you're referring to might be wild estimates from the Small Council in like season 1 about Khal Drogo's group which broke into pieces after he died.

Think about it, if Dany had 80k-100k Dothraki alone, she could have left half to destroy the Golden Company which is only 20k strong.

If she had 80-100k Dothraki, the North/Vale/Wildings/Night's Watch bring enough to the table that you are talking about matching the Night King's army in size or at least getting within 10-20% of him.

80-100k Dothraki and their horses seems wildly unrealistic.

Despite their disdain for the seafaring, Daenerys's newly acquired khalasar of 100,000 Dothraki declare their commitment to cross the "poison water" in "wooden horses" for the conquest that Drogo had promised, after she had emerged from the flames and thus proved herself to be their leader at the khalar vezhven. Giving them time to adjust, Daenerys trained her khalasar not only to be comfortable on ships, but to actually crew them when her armada set sail for Westeros.[5]

I agree and hope like hell most everything is wrong within that spoiler tag. What concerns me is this reddit poster had posts dated back 5 months ago that nailed what would happen in episode three, that is the only reason I even give it a thought.

I see what you're reading, but I genuinely do not recall the show with any Dothraki or Dany or anyone actually saying she was inheriting 100k Dothraki.

Later in that wiki:

"In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, the Dothraki are numerous and are divided into large hordes or khalasars which range over vast areas. Khal Drogo's khalasar consists of 40,000 warriors and is said to be unusually large. "

Drogo had 40,000 and his khalasar was "unusually large"... so who the **** put 100k together and bent the knee to Dany?

It doesn't add up to me, nor did it appear she had 100k at the battle, that would be 10x the Dothraki as compared to the Unsullied... there's no way 100k of them were there, they would have dwarfed the entire army 3-4 times over.

In the books, Dany's eyes are purple. In the show, they are green.

Good article, but very disputed in the comment section.

"This is wrong. Its about 40,000 Dothraki bloodriders, The rest are woman, Children, Old Folk. Approx 60,000"

"There were no other large Khals when Drogo was boss. This is stated in the extra content on DvDs specials. When his horde dismantled. Several other Khals rose."

Those other Kahls she burned had what was Drogo's army, Dany got the old gang back together. So 40,000, mostly dead Dothraki, I doubt 5% survived, those horses running back looked empty. What a messed up trip North for the Dothraki, no gold, no raping, just dying out in the cold, gee thanks Khaleesi.

Am I wrong or did it look like they only had like 4,000 actual Dothraki bloodriders charge the Wights?

All numbers mentioned seem high compared to what we've seen on screen. Are we to believe they were completely wiped out now even though Jorah and Ghost who went with them didn't go down with them? Seems like they're just trying to give Cersei an advantage to make her seem like more of a threat.

Yeah I would agree with this. There is no way what was shown can approximate 40k. I get the need to save on extras but the battlefield was not large enough to fit 40k much less 100k.

Not to mention the crypts would not be able to hold all the women and children as that would be anywhere from 40-60k. Winterfell is not Kings Landing and cant support that many civilians.

If the intent was for it to be 40k or 100k then the show just cut corners assuming people would not care.

Yeah the enemy we actually saw could not overrun 40k or 100k horsemen that quickly. The Undead didnt have spearmen. Or at leadt none were shown.

Depending on the camera angle and the lighting of the shot, it could have been almost any number of riders, well not 100,000, but any realistic number. I got the impression they were trying to make it look like the Dothraki made up the largest part of Dany's/Jon's armies. Which would mean whatever the number was before the battle, it's less than half that now.

The Dothraki didn't bring their families, I don't remember seeing any Dothraki women or children since they left Essos.
