Beach, Bickell, Dowell, Lalonde, Brouwer, Seabrook, all have no problem throwing them.
I'd say of those names, I wouldn't care if Bickell or Dowell went to the box.
Scott serves no purpose, we have just as much toughness as last year assuming Dowell, Beach, and Bickell make the team -- all of which are better hockey players than Scott.
Regardless, the guy is a Hawk so I will reserve further judgment until he plays, but as of now this signing doesn't look very useful. I admit, he looks like he might have a better skill set than someone like Koci, and might be one of the better skating enforcers in the league, but I still don't see the need for it.
For the ultimate goal of the Hawks next year (to repeat) in the end there is no need for it... all you have to do is make the playoffs, Scott gets scratched every game etc.
But as RK broke down earlier in the thread now that Ivanans signed with the Flames we have 10 game to worry about where Scott's services will be needed... I went through the schedule and want to add a few more:
6 St. Louis (Obvious)
4 Calgary
4 Stars (Ott)
2 Rangers (Boogaard/Avery - I know you guys would love to see Avery's face pounded, lol)
1 Islanders (Konopka)
1 Maple Leafs (Orr/Phaneauf)
That's 18 games where I'd like to have Scott out there in case anything goes south, it's not going to hurt anything.
