Houston turned out alright from that draft.

That said, it's not like those teams drafted Jordan and then traded him.

Ok, I see you left out Portland. But I'll be nice and give you that.

That said, it's not like the Hornets drafted Bryant and then traded him.

I guess they just didn't think to highly of him.

Wait, why would a team draft and trade a "franchise player"?

After all, I've been told he was considered a franchise player early in his career and that the Rami Law does not apply to him.

If you don't provide evidence to dispute these accusations then by your own logic they are true and you are full of crap.
:obama:

I'm not the one making claims. You claimed the Bulls were projected to win less than 20 games. You claimed I was a Nazi and that I molested animals. The onus of proof is on you. Not me.

You have it(not surprisingly) reversed.

Logic fail.

Hard.

They obviously didn't think highly of their supporting cast, their coaches, and Bryant to trade him away without playing a game with him.

Also, it's not like Bryant led a team of garbage to 5 titles...he had the generation's best center in Shaq, and an all-star forward in Gasol.

I didn't claim that. I just said I heard those that claim therefore I am not the one making the claim and the burden of proof is not on me, I was just telling you what I heard. If you could read properly you might have seen that.

Jesus Christ you are dense..................still missed the point.

Prove what you heard then. From who? When? Where?

Who made the 20 game claim? When? Where? Something. Anything?

The worst projection I have seen is 41-41 and that's off the memory of some blogger.

LULS at you saying you read/heard the Bulls would win less than 20 games.

Sounds like some Skip Bayless or Jay Mariotti pandering shit.

So the reason for not keeping Bryant was because the coaches and supporting cast but that isn't the case for Seattle?

I like how you change the rules when it doesn't fit your agenda.

I thought Bryant was a franchise player and now you say he was good because of Shaq and Gasol?

Oh the contradictions.

So I guess you're just full of crap.

LOL WHAT?!

Please qualify that, and show me who predicted the 1993-1994 Chicago Bulls to win less than 20 games.

Also, I love how you overlook the next season when Pippen didn't even have the team on pace to win 50.

:turrible:

First of all First Timer, I've agreed with everything you've said.

But I do feel that pippens 95 season was much more impressiive than his 94 campaign.

Look at that core roster

Bj Armstrong
Pete Myers
Pippen
Kukoc
Longley.

Not to mention the bulls started the season with larry krystowaik at pf, then move to rookie corie blount, then dickie simpkins, before settling in on kukoc, who was by no means a power forward.

They were 34-31 on pace to win 44 games before jordan returned. There's nothing on that roster that would indicate theat team should've been anywhere near a top 5 defensive team and they were ranked 2nd. At the time of jordans return, they were the 5th seed.

And pippen was avg 23/9/5 when jordan returned and settled in at 21/8/5. He led that team in every major category and was their best defender. Something that's only been done two other times in nba history. He led the league in steals, he made all nba, and all defense teams, and was second in the dpoy voting.

Just think.... he avg 5 assists passing to a bunch of players that couldn't avg 7 ppg in their best year. The second best scorer (kukoc), was a second year man. They had no interior presence what so ever. Luc Longley was considered a bust, the lowly minnesota timberwolves didn't want him.

Dismissing Toni Kukoc as a "second year man." Doesn't do him justice at all. The guy was drafted in 1990 and was a force to be reckoned with at that point. B.J. Armstrong was no push-over either.

Here you are First Timer.
Below I linked an article to the Chicago Tribune from Nov.51993.
It is one of many articles from experts counting the Bulls out withoout Jordan.
In the article below, the guy basically sating the only thing to look forward to that season would be a Will Perdue stepping on Mugsy...He says that the Bulls will get blown out by Knicks and Pacers...LoL.
He even says The Bulls may be too painful to watch....LMAO, I remember reading this in Study Hall my Senior Year in highschool....I also remember all the Bulls related debates with classmates and teammembers. Most counted the Bulls out but of course I had the last laugh by allstar break...I'm one of the few that looked at the bright side and new they would be one of the better teams..I was actually glad my favorite player at the time (Pippen) woould be able to prove his worth.....Read Link Below....very funny but serious article..

Don't forget replacing Cartwright and Grant with Greg Foster and Larry Krystkowiak. Talk about an upgrade. Those two had Championship written all over them.

I also forgott to mention that although pippen didn't win dpoy in 95, he was second.

But he had the highest votes for the all nba defense team. The dpoy award is voted on by the media, the all defense team is voted by coaches. Which one do you respect more?

Telling someone to prove what they heard, then 2 lines below making a claim about what you saw without any proof...
