How many 1st Round Picks would you give up in order to acquire DeShaun Watson from the Texans?

Visions of the Herschel Walker trade from the Cowboys to the Vikings. Minnesota gave up 3 firsts, 3 seconds, a third, and a sixth. Some conditions in there but they gave up the farm and their future.

Dallas then drafted their way to 3 super bowls and Minnesota never made the super bowl with Walker.
they traded for a running back not a QB

No one is trading away a franchise qb who's in his mid 20's in todays nfl.

Only way it happens is if watson pulls a james harden and refuses to play in houston

literally nobody cares

Well evidently people are creating threads left and right about watson being traded, so someone evidently cares.

It's not realistic at all, and if he gets traded why would he come to paceland?

i meant nobody cares about the odds you personally give it since you don’t know anything

One tiny problem......

Why would the Bears org. do this when they passed on him in 2017??
1. Because they need a QB
2. Unlike in 2017, in 2021 there’s proof that Watson is a good QB at the professional level, and likely miles better than any QB the bears will be able to draft or sign this year.

I hear ya. And for the record I wanted Watson here in 2017 and I'd want him here now. However, I just don't see them doing it. I just don't see any evidence to the contrary. I don't see them covertly admitting they were wrong. Sure....I'd like to be wrong.

Pace is going no where until 2022.

Only way they even consider it is if we get completely embarrassed on a national stage on sunday.

Now that's a interesting spin. I mean there's been a lotta embarrassment since 2017.

Gotcha, I'm just saying if he does want a trade(doubtful) its very doubtful it would be to chicago considering all the offseason talk with the bears slighting him.

3 firsts and 3 seconds? not without additional compensation from houston. as good as watson is that’s too much.

3 first alone is too much.

A qb alone doesn't win you shit. This team is in shambles, its not just the qb. It would be the same situation he has in Houston in 2 years from now.

Watson would be in his early 30's by the time we build a supporting cast around him after all the draft capital we shit away.

Without draft picks hitting you can rarely compete....its the way to stay cap viable. Otherwise you'll be in the situation we are now, just paying different guys big money.

The only answer realistically is to just draft a qb, and have him actually develop for once.

There aint no other answer, at least not short term.

We dont have anything to trade for Watson

Agreed. We could give up the farm, but then we'd just have a qb and nothing else.....so we'd be the texans.

IS that better? Not sure.

Fucking none. Keep drafting QBs until they find one to keep. Then he'll probably get injured. Fucking Bears.
