The mean income of the U.S. Is about 52k. Looks like CCS is about 75% on the high side. Pretty good shape really. Way ahead of most of the planet. Welcome to the top 10% club.

A few that post here? Doubt it. And that was more so my point. I don't doubt there are a few posters here who indeed make over 100k a year, but I don't think there are that many that do.Scoot, you think 100k is a lot of money. I'm betting there are a few that pay that much in ncome taxes
The ones that do would never tell you what they make. It's the ones that don't that always tell you. Not sure I understand whyA few that post here? Doubt it. And that was more so my point. Gotta take into consideration where one lives. I live in California so my base pay is higher than an equivalent engineer in Texas. Also some of us have been working for 40 years so a 100K is not all that unusual.
Also those in IT......Cisco heads.......125K for a CCIE is the bottom of the payscale here in California. An MCSE is going to start near 100.....and thats right out of college.

That's right, in the Bay Area if you make $100k/year you are sharing a rental apartment. A $100k salary is far from impressive in a region like this where everything is monetarily inflated.

I'm afraid it's turning into that out here. Bellevue/Redmond is skyrocketing again.
