I just gave you one. There are 32 starting QBs in the NFL and Dak is ranked 17th oer QBR. Dak has the Cowboys as the 2nd seed in the NFC.

There is really no rational argument that the Pack are not a playoff team with Dak.

By contrast it is obvious that without Taylor, the Colts would not be a playoff team. Again he has double the yards and 3 times the TDs as the 17th ranked RB.

That is just cherry picking stats. Wentz is ranked 8th in QBR.

You put Rogers on the Colts and take away Taylor he would make the playoffs, and would probably have a better record. Teams that have a top run game and lose their top back, usually continue to run the ball well still. Look at Johnson for Cleveland. He played against the Broncos and Patriots and had 250 yards rushing. I am sure there are more examples. The QB position is not so interchangeable.

Here is my thinking why i'd never pick a RB. If the score is 17-14 with 30 secs left this weekend and the Colts have the ball, who would you want on your team Taylor or Rogers?

Over “Rogers?” That’s an easy choice

I'd prefer him over Rodgers.
Right?!

plus, burrow actually has a higher completion % and more yards than Rodgers, while having almost as good of a passer rating…and did so while getting sacked almost twice as much as Rodgers

Bengals without Burrow would be a dumpster fire still

Hub is an attention whore. He wanted attention and he got it.
This is two attention whores having an asshole contest. There are no winners.

In a pile of idiots in the Chicago sports media, Hub is right near the top, but Rodgers has such big rabbit ears he can't let anything go and Hub got what he wanted out of this, his ever fading irrelevant name in the national media spotlight.

The Browns are going to miss the playoffs. Taylor is different. Sorry.

Again Pack have top 10 D, best WR, top OL and top RB duo. They are stacked.

Brady, Stafford, Herbert, Carr, Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, Prescott, Murray, Hurts, Tannenhill, Jones, Wilson, Jackson, JG, Ryan, Big Ben.

That is 17 QBs that have 100% proven in their careers they can make the playoffs with a team of the Packs caliber. All have been franchise QBs at some point except Jones who is a rookie and Jones has the Pats as a playoff team with lesser WRs and RBs.

Now name the RBs that have proven to be capable of carrying a team to the playoffs like Taylor. Derrick Henry is the only one. You have other good backs but none of them have really carried a team on their backs down the stretch like Taylor. 8 of the Colts wins have come with Wentz throwing for less than 250 yards and 5 with him throwing for less than 200 yards.

By contrast Taylor has rushed for over 100 yards in all 9 of the Colts wins. In fact he has 1,249 yards and 14 TDs in the 9 wins. If you just count the yards and TDs in the 9 wins he would literally still lead the NFL in rushing yards TDs.

So literally he has outproduced all the RBs in the NFL in just 9 Colt wins. That is far more remarkable than ARod as his stats dont outpace other QBs like that and again there are 15-17 QBs that could take the Pack to the playoffs.

You are not going to find another RB with that kind of production in a teams wins while the QB was meh.

I will repeat it again. Taylor has more yards and TDs in 9 Colt wins than every RB in the NFL has over the entire season.

Not best player, that would be BPA, it's the most VALUABLE. So to me, that's a guy you take out and the team falls apart. Sadly, though I HATE Rodgers, and even more NOW, he may BE the MVP.
Nonsense. The original intent was to recognize the best player. That's how Ernie Banks and Ted Williams won the award playing on bad teams. In the 80's ESPN campaigned to change the definition to best player that helped their team to either win the championship or contend. Otherise great players on bad teams could never win the award

Umm this is the NFL grandpa. There is an offensive and defensive player of the year award to recognize the best players on O and D. MVP in the NFL is not simply the best player.

Wow

Just wow

That whole article was a non apology and was written from the perspective a guy who was definitely scared of having his vote taken away from him, while at the same time remaining unapologetic and in fact blaming the people he was talking with for "walking him into" the conversation of the MVP.

This truly shows what a spineless coward hub arkush is, and I hope his cohorts that spent today at the score defending him read this and realize he just blamed them for his own actions.

That is a snake of the highest order.

Reading that non-apology of an article and just how mely-mouthed and narcissistic it was in its non-apology makes me hope all the more he does have that vote taken away from him because by God he certainly doesn't deserve it and that article proved it.

I think that maybe perhaps this Hub hateration from yourselve is literally stemming from the FACT that you're literally "mad jelly" that he acturally has legitimate sources for his bears news and rumours meanwhilst your have your dabearsblog whomst is just a regurgitated spewage of stuff that acturally sources from real sources and deeply downward you wish you had an ounce of the credibility that Hub possesses which is moreso pounds and pounds of credibility like weighing even more than all of your breakfastses put together into one singular breakfast.
