im in there.

actually taking a week to 10-14 days off.. just light walking as my maintenance program.. think i was over training a tad.. 10-11 straight weeks.. i get at least a week off..
after breaking my stall.. mentally i was pooped and my body felt run down..

diet has gone to shit during this time.. not going overboard on calories.. staying around maintenance .. but adding extra carbs that are highly processed with large sodium intake.. basically gained 3 pound in water since the break started. i did light boxing yesterday and my muscles felt great for a change but energy was different. bad fuel = bad energy. i notice the difference. my sweat even smells different.. more stank.. guess PH is off..

but ill jump back in in the next couple of days then work up intensity again. phase 2 will change up the routine a tad.. think my body was also use to the set routine i was running.. so gonna mix it up a lil. add outdoor walking/interval running and sandbags

Just keep in mind that the longer the break you go, the harder it is to get back on the wagon. Speaking from experience here.

Go the less is more way. Incorporate some HIIT to knock your workout times way down and likely still get even better results.

valid point, but its all good, my light maintenance routine is keeping me moving.

me boxing is hiit.. was combining that with aerobic n resistance training. but yeah i would still like to condense the workouts so i can knock it out in an hour at most..

me break did keep going longer and longer.. it nearly went into 3 weeks if you count the shitty workouts before i went on me break.. christ.. but 2 weeks of on me ass.. creating me books..

gained weight during this time.. about 3-4 pounds. idk how much is water..

me diet was awful.. wasnt going over me caloric maintenance much.. but i was under acceptable levels a couple of days which is a no no i guess.. diet was straight shit during this time in terms of what i did eat... went from too clean, tons of fruit and water to no fruit, no veg...... cheese, mo cheese, pizza, energy drinks, soda, doritos and finished off me break with kfc last night.. kfc sucks in aus... maybe its the same in the usa, but the shit just tastes like grease...

broke the break with a light workout today.. more like an arm/shoulder warm up stretch.. worked the bag for like 10-20 minutes.. i didnt even break a sweat. i did notice me shoulders got weak during this time.. guess ill have to spend the next few days working myself back into workout shape.. will go half and half on the clean/shitty food for the next week or so.. n get back to super clean.. but i will add more borderline meals in the future as opposed to me last workout term..

cheers to rd 2..... goal is 12 weeks of fat killings maybe 13.. cause this week will be bullshit...... hopefully 15-30 pounds will be lost.. then a small break

Atleast you got back on.

I am going on vacation in a week for a week and I know I am going to eat bad. I just hope I have the motivation when I get back. My personal goal right now is a defined set of abs which means probably a 30 inch waist. It's so incredibly hard to lose that last bit of fat in the stomach area. Carb cycling with pump training on depletion days seems to work best but you feel like absolute shit in the process.

man if your pushing ab 5-10% bf levels.. a week wont do shat to ya imo. i remember when i was young and in da shape.. it took months to get out of condition.. you know how you know when you be getting old.. wishing you were young.. i need that wolverine recovery i be lacking as an older man. as long as youre active some, youll be good..

the long ass rest showed me i was indeed overtraining.. all my muscles have recovered.. i feel strong.. punches are hard as *****.. but my muscle endurance was stripped back a tad and my overall body endurance sucks.. be like laying n bed and having da flue for a couple of weeks then coming back..

today was another light introduction.. 30 mins.. 15 on the bag.. 15 on the treadmill.. did manage to break a lil sweat but my body is in i aint coming off this water mode.. but im just building towards next week so it matters not..

being that i never felt like i recovered.. imma have to modify me workout some.. 6 days on the bag wasnt giving me triceps enough time to recover.. those fucks felt ripped for basically the entirety of that last cycle.. not hurting but just a lil sore.. that muscle ripping when ya building.. maybe ill get on some creatine if i push 6 days a week again.. may do 3 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off..

I'm stuck at 178-180lbs. I wanna get to 170. Starting to run again to help lose it.

Or maybe I'm building muscle so the weight is stagnating. Idk. I'll need to check my bf%

Yeah, I won't get out of shape after a week off... it's just that it will be another week longer of the carb cycling to get to the goal.

IMO, it's such a fine line between overtraining and undertraining. That's why tracking results is so important which you are doing. Also, gotta truly "like" what you are doing which it seems like you are as well. Seems like you are on the right track.

I just need to get off the sugar but I can’t do it. It has to be really good coffee for me to go no sugar. Then the Reese’s. I can’t stop the Reese’s

Lol hey man you work your way into doing it. Not going to get gains doing easy peezy work. Same thing I said to build up your pull ups you have a a total goal to reach and if you can’t get it rest ten seconds and go again until you reach the goal. Eventually your body will develop the strength to do it without resting

Yeah I've been doing chin ups for awhile. Added weight to em cause I can max out regular reps at about 12 for my first set

Alright, Aussie, time to stop fuckin' around. This has gone on too long and you're not dropping that fat near as fast as a fat person with plenty of fat should. Let's just say if you were on Biggest Loser, you'd be the first loser sent home. Want you to eat just once every 24 hours and do 30 minutes of burpees HIIT style in the AM and PM. You get to drink all the water you want. You'll thank me later when you're finally able to do that weight lost ebook.

I’ve been eating 2500-3000 calories a day. I just finished an 8 week routine yesterday. Going to take a two-three week break maybe just do some cardio and abs here and there. Also starting a fast today going to stay at around 950 calories a day for two weeks

950 seems extreme.. but i aint no expert.

i fell into a good workout yesterday.. i only planned on the treadmill to give me arms a rest.. it turned into treadmill to exercise bike and then i went old school taekwondo on da bag. idk y.. maybe da cobra kai in me subconscious.

i haven't done any martial arts since da mid 90s. went bare knuckle on da bag... from fists, to back fist... to palm strikes, knife hand... did a lot of blocks.. plus i mixed in several kicks.. .... who knew i could still kick someone in da face. dis fat boy can also still do spinning kicks.. yeah i think im going to start mixing in barehand/kick days.. thats gonna be a new wrinkle in me plan...

got some bike parts in and started to fix that up.. i forgot to order a cable cutter and i dont want to shred lines.. i also need to order a helmet so i don't get no 300 dolla fines..so in a few weeks...biking a lil will also be in the new plan
