I think the Bears are going to fire Ryan Poles

I am not so sure. I think the team has talent. The issues for this year was a bad head coach and a rookie QB. Poles is responsible for the horrific head coach decision. But talent wise I think we were that edge playoff team most of us thought they were. But when the schedule become harder, Eberflus was exposed. Most GM's get two head coaches. THe team isn't a dumpster fire as it was under Emery and Trestman. This team has great talent at the right skill positions, and playmakers. We just need to shore up the line on both sides and nail the coaching decision and this team takes off. Bringing in a new GM means starting things over, and I don't think George or Warren have the stomach for that.

This is beyond delusional. This team is nowhere close! This GM has been here 3 years and we have zero all pro players to show for it. The oline and DLine are complete disasters that need to be completely redone. Sweat and Wright are the only serviceable players. Dexter might have a future. That’s it!

9 game losing streak, 14 game losing streak. We are close!

None of the players will even make the pro bowl. Maybe the punter. But regardless, even if the Bears were an "edge playoff team", is that even an accomplishment? Nagy made the playoffs in 2020.

The irony here is that this has nothing to do with Caleb and you are absolutely correct. Anytime is cranky because he was a huge Justin Fields fan.

The reason people turned on "King Poles" was terrible coaching hires and neglecting both offensive and defensive lines.

Anyone saying otherwise is just trying to sell their own narrative.
You hated Fields and said he was a franchise killer and you said this before even watching any of his games. Then the Bears drafted him and you hoped on his dick, just like you did with Caleb.

I wanted the Bears to draft Drake Maye since October of last year. You wanted the Bears to take the haul up until they drafted Caleb.

You obese fraud, you will never better me.

My opinion here is just that; opinion. I hoped that having a gm who was a former o-lineman (even a sucky one) might make some difference in the trenches after years of neglect. Sure, Poles tried drafting some o-lineman, but make stupid choices, win stupid prizes

If they’re that sold on Johnson, it wouldn’t surprise me if they brought in Agnew to replace Poles. I can’t see how they have a lot of faith in poles rn.
If they sign Johnson it makes me wonder if they'd try to poach Dorsey too.

Not even just the draft. His decisions in FA to to build the o line was horrible too.

Seems a bit much. JMO
You havent been here long enough to know what an absolute turd this guy is. But if you think a guy with a history of doxing minors, lying about things being reported to push narratives, not actually watching the football games and then giving your opinions on them while acting like you know better than everyone who does, then this is the guy for you. You just said this board sucks. No one sucks more than this guy.

I was gonna edit to add that but you said it. It shouldn’t be this difficult
Sadly, for the Bears it is. Until the organization finds the GM and coaching staff that can actually prove they are worthy, my expectations will continue to be low

Oh so we no longer like King Poles?
For the last time, it’s Pudge Poles and King George, and no, we don’t love the Pudgester anymore, and yes, he’s gotta go.

The Bears two years ago broke the record for longest losing streak in franchise history, a record they’ll likely break again two weeks from today.

The state of the team and its competitiveness is no better than it was during the teardown year, and they’re spending even MORE money this year than that year.

The Bears went from by far having the most cap space to being in the lower half, despite not improving their record.

If that’s not a dumpster fire, I’m not sure what is.

Poles should be fired, team is going nowhere talent is suspect outside of a few players.

However, we all know how this disastrous organization runs, so Poles will be back and than fired next year.

This is they Chicago Bear way, and the culture of this organization.

Poles has traded away an entire draft's worth of picks to net one mid level starter that will be under contract next year.

2nd round Chase Claypool (32nd pick, so basically a 1st rounder)
2nd round Montez Sweat
4th round Keenan Allen
5th round Ryan Bates
6th round Dan Feeney
7th round Kneal Harry

Never mind the comp picks we lost out on by signing scrubs FAs.

For every one good move Poles makes, he makes multiple bad ones that negate the good ones. That's why after 2 years with the #1 overall pick, we're just as bad as the teardown year

Are you getting your shitty nicknames printed on rough cotton tees at cafe press and monetizing them on MySpace?
