You are missing the point. The point is Cutler made his trade demand in March of 2009. What would make 3M a pussy is doing it in the middle of the season. If 3M was upset about Foles then he should have manned the **** up and made a trade demand after the Foles trade. This and he was lied to by McD. He didn't want to start his relationship with a new coach that lied to him and play any longer for an owner not true to his word. Other teams saw this as an opportunity to steal away Cutler on his rookie deal from a desperate Broncos without options. To be clear, McDaniel's was looking for a treasure chest for Cutler if he could get Cassels for the right price. Just normal GM stuff. McD's a dick but Cutler's reaction was partially due to the owner telling him he had a home there that wouldn't be affected by the coaching change. Just a shit show all around. The only guy that wasn't lying was Jay and he was viewed as much the victim as anything else.

A very different situation than a backup QB ditching a team that needs him in the middle of a contract year. If Mitch and his agent wanted an out, they could have cut his shoulder that could like use the tightening up and give him an angle on reclamation that no one would question.

He got benched because he sucked against the 30th ranked defense. It wasn't obvious it was a huge mistake because after Atl, Foles immediately faced much better defenses than 3M. He faced the 1st, 3rd, 22nd, 2nd, 4th, 25th, 24th. So 4 of his games were against top 5 defense in yards allowed. That is absurd. It really didn't become apparent he sucked until he continued to struggle against the Titans and Vikings who are 25th and 24th on D.

So stop being a fucking moron, you know this. QBs perform worse against top 5 defenses than they do the 30th ranked D. If 3M had sucked against Indy instead of the Falcons then he wouldn't have been benched.
