Refs have called back 69 ints over cough cough penalty's. Joe Burrow is in second place at 4. Career wise.
those pesky ALMOST interceptions! also, link to that being factual?

that's one of his finer qualities. I don't understand how anyone could say they don't like Romo as an announcer.

I didn't get to see the game cause I got called into work but had some play by play via text. I don't think even Brady got the preferential treatment from the refs that Mahomes does. I don't know the Chiefs GM but they have that team outfitted very well. if Kelce retires I don't think there will be any dropoff.

also fun fact: Nagy has 2 rings already

I know a few Cowboys fans that hate him with the passion most reserve for Joe Buck.

I personally think Romo is very good

Lmao Brady played 22 years, won 7 SBs, went to the SB 10 times, engineered the greatest comeback in probably all of sports history, dominated an entire conference for 2 decades, is the all-time leader in passing yards and passing TDs, was a top 5 QB in his MID FORTIES, AND BEAT PATRICK MAHOMES HEAD TO HEAD IN THE AFCCG AND SB!!!!!!!

All for @Toast88 to question if Mahomes is better after 7 years as a starter. Give me a break.

And did it with two teams

if there's a just and loving god…. the Eagles will beat them in the Super Bowl

I didn't see the end of their game, like it was a 1 score game when I had to leave. it ended up being a massacre. lol

…. the asteroid will hit the 50 yard line at kickoff.

Because it applies to anyone who played QB. Brady was partially great because of the incredible team/system in New England. Now, Brady cemented his GOAT status, in my book, by going to a Tampa team that was much worse than NE in their heyday and he still succeeded.

The Tampa Bay team was not without talent, especially after TB was able to bring Gronk in.

Still, there is no denying Brady elevated that team to the point where they could win a Super Bowl. He deserves a lot of credit for that. When Joe Montana left San Francisco for Kansas City, he was never able to reproduce the success he had enjoyed with the Niners. It's just not that easy.

Mahomes isn't watered down at all. He's great. But make no mistake, he wouldn't have all that success if he started his career with the Bears. Or, are you saying Chicago would have all those recent trophies if only Mahomes got drafted by us?
Not at all saying that. I was responded to a post that defended Brady > Mahomes by pointing out how well run the Chiefs are.

I don't play the "If this guy was drafted by X, then Y" game, because you could literally do that with any player or any team. You go where you go, and the results are the results.

"Brady is better than Mahomes because Mahomes was drafted by a great organization" is an extremely hollow argument.

Let's also keep in mind that Brady won rings with 2 difference franchises and coaching staffs and lost a full year due to injury. Let's see Mahomes play for another team without Andy Reid, see what he does with them, and then we can talk.

Mahomes will absolutely, baring severe injury or just sheer boredom, will overtake Brady on all of the passing records. I don't think that is even debatable at this point, Mahomes will own them all. However, we judge QB's based on Super Bowl Rings (Let's face it, the only reason people even talk about Eli Manning are because of his 2 Rings, not his stats) so for Mahomes to eclipse Brady, IMO, he has to get at a minimum 5 rings (so 2 more). If he wins the 3-peat this year but never wins another ring, sorry, can't be the Goat. Championships have to matter more than individual stats.

Not really. Another few years of anything close to his dominance thus far will cement Mahomes, and anyone denying it will be in the extreme minority.

"But he hasn't been in the league for 22 years! But he hasn't done it without Andy Reid! But he hasn't done it for two teams!" will be lost in the darkness, crushed by 10 straight AFC title games, 7-8 Super Bowls in 10 years, and quickest to every single QB milestone.

I'm not some big Chiefs/Mahomes lover. I can just see which way the train is rolling. And it doesn't appear to be slowing down.

Yeah, I don't think the number is that high but someone did look into this and more than half were either overturned by replay or were negated because of offsides. So basically, @Noonthirtyjoe is dumb

Here's an insane Patrick Mahomes stat in the playoffs with 1 minute or less left down by a score.

Brady is better than Mahomes because he has more championships, accolades and done it far longer. But don't think for a second that NE's system didn't have a hand in that. Just like KC's system is helping Mahomes to success.

Not sure how anyone can possibly disagree with this.

This is the legitimate A-for-A argument. "But Mahomes is in a great organization" isn't a great argument, in my opinion, because the Patriots appear to have been the gold standard of operating a franchise for 20 years.

No one thought the Hunt family were some great owners before Reid got there. (In many ways, they're the McCaskeys of the AFC.) Even after Reid got there, no one (at least not anyone in the know) believed John Dorsey to be some great GM.

At most, it's a wash.
