Ummmm what?
make it make sense
you questioned whether mahomes would be as great if he was a Bear
i then posit that brady wouldnt have been as good if he was a raider
you then go on about how i somehow made your point for you? is your point that brady benefited from where he was drafted? if so, then that is MY point not yours
Evidence =\= proofNo, that’s not the case here
I’ve presented statistics and awards as factual evidence to back up the claims made
You can disagree with what to extrapolate from them, but to claim it’s the same as your “more rings” logic is incorrect
This is his 5th SB. Only two other QBs have ever done that. None have done it before the age of 30. Combined with the stats, even in a pass happy era, I don't think there's much of an argument tbh. Maybe Montana, because of the 4 SB victories, but even Montana never displayed this type of dominance. Mahomes already has been to as many championship games as Montana, and he's not even 30. Quite honestly, there's Brady/Mahomes/Montana, and then there's everyone else.If Mahomes retired right now you'd have him as the 2nd best ever? I think there's an argument to be made for it, but I wouldn't agree. I think I would have him 4th, but anywhere 2-5 I think would be fair.
SBs are great team and great coaching. Best QBs ever are P Manning, Marino, Montana. Brady and Mahomes are just in great systems at the right time. I would take Manning over any QB. Rings matter. Sure Trent Dilfer isn't better than Marino because he has a SB victory, but when you start talking about 4 SBs, it matters. Mahomes is easily the most talented of all those QBs.SBs are great team and great coaching. Best QBs ever are P Manning, Marino, Montana. But the cards played out how they played out. Not his fault it happened that way. That’s out of his control.Fair question. Obviously, he's pretty good.
He also benefits from being in a good situation.
Would he had been as successful if the Bears had taken him instead of Trubisky?
Call me skeptical on that one.

Rings are a team thing. Mahomes is not a top 10 QB. He is a turnover machine. Don't let the refs fool you. Talent means little. The top qb Manning had almost none.Rings matter. Mahomes isn't watered down at all. He's great. But make no mistake, he wouldn't have all that success if he started his career with the Bears. Or, are you saying Chicago would have all those recent trophies if only Mahomes got drafted by us?Patriots carried Brady his first few Super Bowls. Not saying he didn't earn it and have his moments, but it's not even controversial to say Brady was not among the best QBs in the league his first couple of Super Bowls. So saying Mahomes is somehow watered down because of the greatness of the Chiefs organization seems hollow.
Correct, that being said…Evidence =\= proof
Lmao Mahomes turns it over less than Brady or Peyton did fwiwRings are a team thing. Mahomes is not a top 10 QB. He is a turnover machine. Don't let the refs fool you. Talent means little. The top qb Manning had almost none.

But, if you use that 'logic', you can apply that to anyone who played the QB position.Mahomes isn't watered down at all. He's great. Nobody needs evidence to have an opinionCorrect, that being said…
Evidence >>> no evidence
Everytime
Refs have called back 69 ints over cough cough penalty's. Joe Burrow is in second place at 4. Career wise.Lmao Mahomes turns it over less than Brady or Peyton did fwiw
Can you come up with a worse take than Mahomes being a turnover machine??
Sure it's me.
Ok, you're just stupid
Because it applies to anyone who played QB. Brady was partially great because of the incredible team/system in New England. Now, Brady cemented his GOAT status, in my book, by going to a Tampa team that was much worse than NE in their heyday and he still succeeded. But, if you use that 'logic', you can apply that to anyone who played the QB position.
Mahomes is great. I think he needs to be great for a longer period of time to be GOAT, but he's ahead of pace.
That said....Brady is like the Muhammad Ali of QBs while Mahomes is like the Mike Tyson. Brady played in a golden age of QBs. Mahomes' top competition are guys like Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen....QBs who either choke or play for teams that routinely lose to KC. The QBs Mahomes defeated in the Super Bowl were Purdy, Hurts and Jimmy G; not exactly a murderers row of all timers. Mahomes and KC got destroyed by TB and...Tom Brady.
Maybe from some POV Mahomes being so much better than his peers makes him better overall....I don't know.
Is he better than Matt Barkley?Rings are a team thing. Mahomes is not a top 10 QB. He is a turnover machine. Don't let the refs fool you. Talent means little. The top qb Manning had almost none.
