Len Kasper hoping to grab this lead with rain coming, because, as he says, "if someone has the lea after 5 innings, that could be the ball game".

Well, yeah, it could. But it requires rain for about 7 hours to get a game called these days.

Not loving Lester anymore eh? :nelson:

Yep, every single one of us are ready to trade him or buy out his contract after three career starts in a Cubs uni.

Ugggj.. just not able to get that big hit now since the first inning

Lester got to finish strong and hopefully the hitters can get something going again

Would like to see Lester get out of this. Knew this would be his last inning with him coming around in the lineup again next inning

The pen better keep these runners off the board

Speak for yourself (I know you were being sarcastic.)

Some of us are smart enough and mature enough to not go crazy over two games.

(I know this is his third, but I see nothing in this game to make anyone not want him.)

Same. Coke and Schlitter scare me

It's been a rough series for the pen. Would be nice to see them finish the series strong

I really need somebody to explain to me why Brian Schlitter still has a job on this 25-man roster.

Okay, can I say Schlitter sucks or is it still too early?

Really not understanding why Edwin Jackson isn't getting more looks.

Cubs should have 5-6 runs on board ...

Disappointed Lester couldn't get into the 7th....

One of those games your hoping the hitters come through with a big inning here late and save the pen..

At what?

As a starter last year, he seemed to have a lot of rough first innings. Not a good thin for a BP pitcher.

Schlitter still seems to be a better option than that guy.
