Yes, I agree, and hopefully warms up here in the next few days would be good timing. I also like that we get Cincy for 7 games in the first 3 weeks with pretty much their whole starting rotation on the DL.

Just as an FYI, Zobrist is a team player all the way. He can hit jacks. Remember at the end of the one season when TB was out of it, he went on a streak.

I think the Cubs will jump on them in the 1st, and for no particular reason, I'm going with Heyward going yard to start off a wonderful career as a Cub!

Cubs strike 1st right away .... I Love it!

I wish they'd show the pitch count on the score tracker. The best thing the Cubs did last year, imo, is make opposing pitchers throw a lot of pitches. I hope they show the same patience this year, and the 1st was a good start.

Edit: They are showing the count, nevermind. :tongue:

Don't follow the Halos much so this Richards is new to me. He's pretty impressive with that 98 heat and the 89 change...no wonder he's the Opening Day guy.

This is why baseball is stupid. I don't fucking live in LA and yet the game is blacked out on my fucking cable because people apparently didn't show up to the game there. So to be able to watch the game i literally have to access a proxy and watch on ESPN.com because it's blocked out there too for some stupid reason. WHY DO YOU MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT TO WATCH YOUR GAME!?

Man, what a masterful AB by Miggy. Works a 1-2 count full and then drives in a run. Richards at 72 pictes with 1 out in 4th. !!
