Your contributions to this forum never fail to impress. A little money buys a long leash, apparently.
Our Moderator community believes in the principals of our forefathers. Like Thomas Jefferson, the Mods, believe that the tyranny of the majority should never outweigh the rights of the minority. They know that the opinions of majorities can change and what was right yesterday could be wrong today. Rights are inherent, not variable. So thats why they would never let your pathetic whining influence them to ban someone with a contrary opinion, Additionally, advocating the banning of someone with opinions that differ from your own is cowardly and should shed doubt on the principles you hold.

I get the right handed lineup against Bergman and I even get giving a scuffling Heyward a day off but having both he and Zobrist out of the lineup when they were the "stir the drink" guys that are supposed to make this thing go mystifies me a bit. I think today is a must win psychologically for Arrieta, who was not sharp last time out, and the team in general who were awful yesterday. I just hope this isn't a little too clever.

A little dramatic TC. lol I expect Zobrist to play 130 games. Maybe a touch more with Schwarber out. Heyward should play almost all the games, but he hasn't been very good at the plate. I would guess Maddon saw it was a good day to give him off since the righty/lefty split is pretty intense.

Yeah it is a little dramatic. The way they lost yesterday shook me more than it should have. I was kind of looking for a beat down game today and maybe we'll get one after all.

You misunderstand; it's not your opinion that offends, it's your complete lack of wit in expressing it. I mean, "Dr. Loopyswing?" Really? So while I wholeheartedly support your right to promulgate your pea-brained, numbskull opinions across this great board, I just wish you would do it in a manner that's a little more funny, or at the very least mildly amusing. But, greased palms, as they say...

That was some incredible range Baez showed but he has to put that ball in his back pocket. Almost cost them a base.

Bryant had to be guessing there. The ball caught a lot of the plate

Or in other words: he doesn't put his bat on the ball enough to be batting higher than 6th

Is it just me or does anyone else hate the way Fowler catches routine fly outs?

Oh get over Omelet! It's getting old like most of your stuff. Sheesh.
When I look at Bryant I'm reminded of Jim Hickman that played on the late 60s Cubs. One of my favorite players. .250 range average, good power, less strike outs than Bryant, both average in the field. Both were/are perfect 6 hole hitters and won't kill rallies there. I'm betting Maddon puts him 2-4 because he doesnt want to embarrass the guy because of the expectations and that he is a team leader

I like Bryant but would like him more batting 6th

That's how Willie Mays did it. Oh wait I'm the only one that actually saw Willie play in Wrigley

He doesn't like you. You make him want to rip his dick off.

You can bet Maddon's not doing that. You realize our normal 2 and 3 hitters are out today, right? Bryant may be slumping a bit early, but he doesn't deserve your ignorance, and we certainly don't need to hear it over and over!
