Who said they couldn't? I think you need a class in reading comprehension.

All I said was anyone who sits back and says "Well we already won last year so it's all good" is a loser. That's not how winners think, that's how losers think.
How fans feel doesn't determine whether their team wins or loses. You don't even have enough information about Joe Maddon to understand what makes him one of the best managers in the game. If you have something of value to offer the forum other than attacking every poster, I haven't seen it.

Joe is managing like we have a 10 game lead in the division. There comes a time to flip the switch and find a killer instinct and putting Bryant in left field so tommie can play is not it.

Sure seems like Schwarber is out of the inner circle.

Your last sentence contradicts your first one.

Again, who said it did? This is the second time you've failed to correctly summarize what I posted. Maybe third time will be the charm for you.

I've correctly summarized who you are as a poster.

LOL. You didn't. The outside the lines stuff is what makes him a great manager. Anybody can follow the saber stuff and set some defensive shifts.

What he does inside the lines makes him average at best.

What he does between the lines makes him above average. What he does outside of just game time makes him highly successful. Try not to suck, Brett.

Using Chapman for 3 innings while up 5 runs in G6 of the World Series strikes you as an "above average" decision? mmmk

This is another dumb post. You point to a small sample size as to determining whether a manager is above average or not.

Damn, Dunkin Donuts gives out free coffee if someone uses three awful sports cliches in one sentence. Maybe you could try a little harder next time?

It's ain't happening. I don't believe for a moment that you believe the Cubs will not win the NL Central

The Cardinals are concerning. Their Pythagorean (79-64) is basically the same as the Cubs (78-65) now. If they correct it'll be neck and neck down the stretch.
