Ok, time for Jon Lester and the sweep. Tomorrow's game, and games like it, is why they got this guy.

What a play by Russell to win the game! The kid is something special with the glove. it was a good example how important defense is as well.

Wasn't able to watch the game today but that's alright because I would've lost my mind watching the 9th inning lol. Very nice play to end it

Yep, just like when Castro stabbed Ramirez play that was probably a game saver. But, at least you gave props unlike certain peeps

Thankfully, this team is nothing like this forum. Everybody on the Cubs are pulling on the same end of the rope and I guarantee no one on that teams cares who makes the plays....they only care that the plays are getting made. To me, the best part is that so many different guys are stepping up. Look at Strop...this Cardinal team has smoked his butt on numerous occasions but he drops a blank inning on them yesterday and with some help from his friends grabs a big save today.

Cubs seem destined for something. They have been pretty dominant since the break.

No doubt. I root for the Cubs. Everyone has their favorites but I am about seeing a winner. I been a Saints and Cubs fan my whole life. My loyalty should never be questioned. Lol

Being a Saints fan these days has to be about as fun as being a Bears fan.
