Cards will blame the ump again.

It is absolutely unbelievable that Lance Lynn was complaining about balls and strikes yesterday. He couldn't find home plate with a Garmin, but after he totally stunk it up, he jawed at the ump. Talk about not taking accountability. This fucking organization blames anyone and everyone they can when things don't go well.

He said the ump wasn't giving him the calls he was giving Haren. He sounded like a child throwing a fit

When he was regularly beating the Cubs the last couple of years....never once heard him cry. Now that they're handing him is ass, it's an officiating problem. Funny how that works....

Hate to say it but SilenceS #CALLEDIT on Castro.

Not even close.

He said all year that Castro was playing great when he wasn't. The minute they benched him, the team took off. Clearly better defensively, and the offense took off with him out.

Castro's hot stretch is about one tenth as long as Silence has been calling it.

I'm happy Castro is finally adding something positive for a change. But let's not get crazy.

I watched the first inning. With two men on, he threw a pitch 6 inches below the knee to Rizzo and it was called a strike. That was the last pitch I saw him throw all day that could have been a strike. He's out of his mind if he thinks his problems had a single thing to do with the ump.

Defense. Defense. Defense!

You simply can NOT allow Peralta to score on that fly ball. My mother could beat him in a foot race, and she's darn near 90.

Not true. They benched him after they had already won 8 of 10.

Would have liked to have seen Wood get Heyward out there and finish the inning. He was done after this regardless but Cahill scares me.

Now we get to see Strop, who has a 1 million ERA vs. St. Louis.
