ya i think ppl got pissed he didnt take the cubs offer. if the cubs can't afford what he's asking, it be smart to trade him when he has the most value to get some good players back.

Dernier - he was proven in the era he played in. I guess these days he would not even be on a MLB roster.

i think he's saying these guys need to learn how to hit to manufacture runs and not try to hit a hr when the wind is blowing in 30 mph. But that's the entire MLB. Nobody knows situation hitting other than a few teams like the Astros, A's, and sometimes the Dodgers.
