Again some of you are the dumbest people I’ve interacted with. Be happy? Yes! I am. Gloat like that dude does? A little odd. I think it’s funny that you lack the ability to distinguish the above
Don’t assume any of us read your whole post.

Love the Johnson hire. It's a big swing. As a fan I want to feel like ownership is doing everything they can to win. Obviously that hasn't been the case for the Bears in many, many years. Here's to this being the first step in the right direction.

It's hard to believe we got the guy who has run the top offense in all of football over the past 3 seasons.

Averaged 29 points and 395 yards per game over that 51 game span. Only other team in that span that managed to hit both of those marks for even a single season was the 2022 Chiefs, and they haven't come close to that again the last two years.

And with Jared Goff at QB no less.

I heard that the Bears basically said "name your price we have to have you." If that's true then the Bears' thoroughly dysfunctional FO deserves credit for that when they missed the boat on doing the same for Harbaugh last year. You just hope and pray that a broken clock can be right this time with Johnson.

clearly Ben and both the bears wanted this a long time ago

If only they fired flus last year maybe this wouldn’t have been a wasted season
And could have put the right foundation under CW from the start instead of the bad habits from the shit show he was apart of. Oh well

Poles better throw the kitchen sink at the offensive line this offseason. You could even neglect the defensive line a little bit in favor of making damn sure you get that fixed so Johnson can get this train rolling.

Caleb/Moore/Odunze/Kmet/Swift/Johnson is comparable to what the Lions have at their skill positions just that Caleb's upside is a lot higher than Goff's at this point. The difference is the O-line. The good news is that with Caleb and Johnson: you've got to believe that free agents will be more likely to sign here now to be part of what could be.

I have no complaints. Getting a Head Coach/OC that loves running the ball and most likely a top Defensive Coordinator.

I'm just still upset over Carter and Verse totally dominating yesterday.

I think this is the biggest disappointment for not hiring Johnson last year. The Bears didnt set Williams up to succeed his rookie season when they should have.

Starting from ground zero is one thing, but starting with a handicap is another. Hopefully they didn’t damage CW too much last year.

I don’t think they did. He still played well enough and showed enough promise to where he can continue growing.

Caleb playing the entire year was huge for experience. I would imagine a lot of the offseason work will focus on his footwork and timing. It should have regardless, but with the new offense it will be even more important.

I don't see the Bears skill players as anything special. Odunze was ok as a rookie. probably a bit of a disappointment, and Moore had a down season. Swift is a limited RB who rarely breaks tackles and Roshon is nothing special. I'd like to see a quality RB drafted and a speedy type WR.

Detroit prioritized both O line and offensive playmakers. The Bears should do the same.
