To Theo's bright future! Cheers fellas!

Let's go ahead and waive him outright so we don't continue wasting our time with him :smug:

I wonder if Baez gets to 30 homeruns combined this year. That is pretty impressive for 2 pitching leagues.

wouldnt surprise me if Arrieta starts in place of Villanueva next week and villanueva goes back to the pen where was was effective for the most part.

hitting bombs and driving in runs for AA, just needs to cut down on K's and get that Avg up from here on out this season and then get off to a nice start in AA next year.

Baez with his 9th homer at AA today, and CJ Edwards just struck out the side in the first -- two on fastballs, one on a curve.

Just read that Arietta faced the Dodgers in April, and the Dodgers' catcher told Phil Rodgers recently that the stuff Arietta threw that day, he hasn't seen all year. Arietta gave up 5 runs in 4.2 IP, but the Dodgers' catcher said he has tremendous upside and it was a great deal by the Cubs. Only one man's opinion, but from an opponent, and a catcher to boot, it's good to hear.

I saw Almora tonight against the Peoria Chiefs. The kid can play. Very nice CF. Good range, reads the ball well. Nice speed. Smart, yet aggressive baserunner. The swing looks solid. Ready to pull the trigger on good pitches, but seems selective, too. What he hit was hit hard.
