Sounds like its radiculopathy related to his back problems to me

Occam's razor...the simplest explanation is the most likely. L5/S1 disc space. Jenkins is my favorite Bear. Super bummed he's having troubles. Hopefully it is a simple calf strain and he bounces back.

This kid won’t be out for 6 weeks. I’ve met the kid. He was buying liquor in Vernon Hills. The kid was resilient. He’ll be back week 2 in the sweltering Tampa Bay heat

Jenkins is the guy who is massively strong, but under performed, right? Or did he turn things around? Sucks about the injury though. I hope he returns quickly and 100%.

Wrong. He is our best Olineman when healthy. He is a pancake type guy.

He can block the entire Packers DLine with one arm. True story.

Being the best at a position on a team (e.g. Bears) doesn't really mean much when everyone else can stink.

Sort of like Jordan Love at QB huh?
We shall see!! In the limited snaps in the fake games, he's look good, but looking good in fake games doesn't really mean squat. We'll see how he does after teams get a little film on his tendencies and see how (or IF) he adapts.

But to say he's a joke is blatant ignorance at this point and probably someone who listens to Colin Cowherd ?

I'm looking at the Bears strength and conditioning staff (as mentioned in link #76 )They're paid six figures to stay on top of whats going on with the player health and proper conditioning. And prevent injury and/ or reoccurring in injury
Unless it's common to the rest of the team, there is absolutely no reason to point at the trainers.

Jenkins has suffered through multiple ailments / injuries over his time here. If I were a beat writer for the Bears,
I'd want to interview Head strength and conditioning coach Jim Arthur. I'd want to get insight into the injuries
and his process as strength and conditioning coach.

We can't have OL injury problems moving into the season.Or else it's gonna mean opponents teeing off and going after JF. And like last season, JF will be running for his life. In addition, some ppl here are gonna be saying, JF is a "running Qb". JF is not progressing as a passing Qb. In the end..... some ppl here are gonna be asking for USC Qb Caleb Williams in the draft. I'm seeing it on some of the Bears, podcasts right now.

Here's more on the OL from a hour ago:

Bears' offensive line situation already looking dire as injuries pile up

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- With the season opener against the Green Bay Packers just 19 days away, the Bears' offensive line is in a massive state of flux.

Yet the rest of the team is not very dinged and if you think the trainers under Flus will spill the beans, your goofy. Eagles, Packers have twice as many on their injured list and they were the only 2 that I checked. Welcome to camp.

My guess is that the OL starters are getting too many reps to try and get that cohesiveness that only comes from play. I'm sure not getting rid of the OL coach after watching last year's acquisitions step it up.

Eberflus is very secretive I get that. We don't know if the OL is over trained / too many reps or not ....that falls back on Jim Arthur and OL coach Chris Morgan . I never said "getting rid of the OL coach". I do believe in accountability. accountability breeds winners and winners bring SB's

Bottom line, the OL has to be solidified. We don't want JF running for his life again like last season. And the usual suspects dropping all the blame on JF i.e. "running Qb". JF is not progressing as a passing Qb, JF is holding the ball too long, JF is not processing etc, etc

I can run with most of the shit you're saying here but you do spend a lot of time blaming coaches for stuff.
