Same with the Hawks parade... what makes a bunch of cheese heads coming into and rubbing up on each other special?

I do know that Wisconsin doesnt have much when it comes to sports teams, so why bag on the packers and the celebration.

The brewers are starting to come around, they havent done much for wisconsin.

No NHL team.

The Bucks are the Bucks.

But they have a storied franchise that won a superbowl, and if it means to them what it meant for me with the sox and hawks, than I respect that.

Ya they do... the Sox aren't a boring team at all. They have Speed (Pierre), Pitching (Rotation and Sale), Power (Dunn, Konerko, Ramirez, Rios), and more. They are a playoff-caliber team.

So I am either interpreting this wrong or you are talking out of your ass.

So because they are a playoff caliber team, they are fun to watch? That's not true at all. Not saying they are or aren't fun to watch, but your logic sucks.

Yes, actually, good teams are fun to watch, and so are teams like the Cubs. A good combo of speed, power, and pitching is always fun.

I'm only bringing them down because it is BigP I'm talking to.

Just because they are good doesn't mean they will be fun to watch. You're right, a good combo of speed, power, and pitching is fun to watch, but that's not what you said. Nevermind. It's useless with you.

That is what I said. I said they were a playoff-caliber team after that in my initial post. Unless playoffs suddenly became boring, I'm lost.

The playoffs are fun to watch because they are, well, the playoffs. But you said playoff caliber, not in the playoffs. There is a difference, junior.

A pennant race, even if they fall out, if fun while it lasts too. And we're like the same age, how am I a "junior", lol?

Joe Cowley is a fool. Even smart White Sox fans will tell you that Chicago is a Cubs town.

When I look at Konerko's numbers I think to myself "yeah, we could use that guy on our team."

I agree....he puts up steady numbers year after year.....would love to have him on the Cubs.

Well stated.

 that is as ignorant as one fan can get. you are making your fellow cub fans look like idiots. I really hope there arent many cub fans that have that opinion.

I think you should look at your browser history, and or bookmarked favorite, and never click on CCS again. you have no clue on what you are talking about, and either are 1) really stupid 2) an over the top homer 3) someone just trying to get attention on a site 4) an ex banned member trolling

Alright....maybe I was a little harsh on the Sox. I would probably say that maybe I am a "over the top" Cub fan waiting for that elusive World Series:pray:

Funny you should bring this up, as the Sox have never made the playoffs back to back years. I

To what Addison said, I agree, who cares? Sox fans, that's who. They take the Cubs-Sox rivalry sooooo seriously. It's crazy.

Yeeeeea, we weren't the ones throwing trash onto the field from the bleachers like dumbasses after giving up a HR to AJP late in the game to give us the lead a few years ago buddy.

That is so irrelevant it isn't even funny. It's in the middle of a game, of course we are going to get mad. Duh?

That really doesn't justify anything.

It's one game. Period. Plus, he's making it sound like I'm saying we don't give a shit about the games. We do, but it's not a priority or anything like that.

Sure, every game counts. But to me it is just another game. Like Cubs-Diamondbacks pretty much.
