At least he has a history of using his money on good causes and if history is any indicator, I doubt he keeps 1/2 of it over the long haul. He's a bit of an oddball but he's not a bad guy. This is a drop in the bucket for the NFL. I suspect he got this big of an amount due to an agreement to not pursue future employment in the NFL, basically got paid to stay away as much as for past bias. He basically got 5 years of journeyman pay, what both of Denver's QBs are getting. Last 2 years and 3 more, when he would turn 35 in season.

Since there was a confidentiality agreement, does that mean that the media does not have the right to leak the numbers? Or just that Kaepernick and the NFL can't talk about it? If the media is allowed, then the whole confidentiality thing is kinda pointless in today's world.
