Bananas are for chimps and chumps. Avocados not only have far less sugar than bananas but even more potassium. They're much more nutrient dense, heavy on healthy fat and fiber.
Don't care. Bananas rule.

I agree. Those bananas were fucking brave. The avocados had more numbers, but the bananas had more heart.

The Persians were the bananas. The bananas were bad and filled with evil (sugar), The Spartans strong and hearty like the avocado that should be put on a pedestal by all you mouth breathing sugar eaters.

Any diet and/or lifestyle of w/e you call it, that tells me I can't eat an apple or banana is just plain stupid. An apples a day keeps the doctor away holds as much weight as keto

You can eat an apple and banana together and still not get as much potassium as you would get from 1 avocado. You’ll also get about 40g of sugar when eating that apple and banana together. Avocados have no sugar

1 avocado has 3x more calories than 1 banana though. So yeah it will have more potassium. the fuq? If I ate 3 bananas which would equal 1 avocado in calories, those 3 bananas provide more potassium.

Also, bananas are super cheap. As if imma hand my girl an avocado when she has growing pains every couple days. She would be cool the first time but then wtflol, theres bananas on the counter

If you're eating stuff like fruits and vegetables, you don't really have to count calories. Portion control on meat, hefty portion of veggies, limit the starches. Banana/apple/avocado for a snack. Bada bing bada boom!

Fats are your most nutrient dense food and avocados very high in that macro. Remember 1g fat equals 9 calories while 1g protein or carb is only 4 calories. You want the good stuff, you take the calories. Fat is also the macronutrient that has the least impact on insulin. They also provide high fiber and even some protein.

Yes, technically, shouldn’t say no sugar but as is the rule of thumb for listing nutritional info, if it’s less than 1 you can list it as 0.

Also they are so much more convenient to grab when running out that door. Who wants to take an avocado and knife to work and sit there and cut it up? Literally smh

I think the one thing all agree on at this stage is that sugar is bad for you. Bananas and apples among the fruits highest in sugar. Why people think sugar is somehow good for them if it comes from fruit, I haven’t a clue as fructose has never been viewed as a good thing.

Trust me, I eat a lot of avocados I just bought 5 this morning! I just don't eat one for every meal.

Me neither, brother. 1 a day will keep the doctor even further away than an apple.

I’ve seen people who do eat a lot of apples and maintain a low body fat % by cutting off the skin and a thin layer beneath it and then discarding the bulk of the apple. The nutrients are on the outside while the inside is more just sugar.
