I can't wait to look your age in 20 years when I'm actually 10 years older than the age I look like you do now at the age of 41 but look 31

Someone needs to slap the Vick outta you.

I went off the plan a little on Sunday.

Was sick with a cold Monday and chowed on a lot of soup with pasta in it.

After Fat Tuesday, I weighed and came up SEVEN friggin' pounds higher than last week.

I didn't eat seven pounds of food!

After two weeks of losing 3-4 pounds, it seemed to all come back in 48 hours. Granted, it was a different time of day, but damn!

I knew I was taking Fat Tuesday literally, but I was discouraged it went that far in the wrong direction. Lent is buckle down time!

Sauteed a bell pepper/onion, threw in some ground beef. Let it brown, then whipped up some eggs, splash of milk, salt/pepper and poured over the meat. Let the eggs scramble and topped with cheese. Easy din din

Down to 218.6 today... after 3-4 days of no real movement, it dropped today and body fat % dropped a nice bit, so I know it was meaningful.

I'm happy for your weight loss, truly, but what I'm most curious about is if the insulin dosage amounts are decreasing, and by how much?

Carbs cause you to retain excess water, it's the first weight you lose and the first you see come back when you go back to carbs. No biggie but vitamin C will do more good for a cold than a soup with pasta.

Absolutely, had to drop my nightly 24-hr dose from 50 units to 40, and I saw the doc on Monday and he said to expect to drop it 5-10 more units as I lose 10-15 more lbs

For the shots I do when I eat, I am using like 4 units per meal where I was probably anywhere from 8-15 before.

I eat 5 times a day on this plan, so around 20 units of that type a day compared to something like 40-50 units a day before.

Carnival season. I planned to cheat for two days. Knowing I’m going off keto onto something similar. Gained 12 pounds of water weight. Lost 7 when I fasted for 20 hours. Shit wild. I freaked out at first then realized it had to be water with the carbs sucking it in. Doing a similar diet with low carbs but less fat. Leaner meat and a little more selections.i don’t have high cholesterol and I’m not a big fan of all the eggs and meats I have been eating. I eat a ton of veggies but I’m looking for more balanced. As long as I keep going forward, I don’t think I have to worry. Also about to uptick my work outs. Bout to cross over some fools on the b-ball court

I did very similar - I had Italian sausage left over from making soup on Sunday, and did this, but as an omelette. Agreed - very good. And easy.

I eat a lot of omelettes when avoiding carbs. Well, and when not, I guess.

Take ya some cauliflower, shred it, mix it with some shredded mozzarella and some eggs. Mix it all together. Get ya a round pan and flatten it all out and shape it. Throw on some low carb pizza sauce, some mozzarella on top of that and then some bacon or what not.

I've found an even better way to do the crust - replace the cauliflower with chicken breast you've thrown through a food processor.

Less carbs overall, and the crust crispens a hell of a lot better. Give it a go. Also add a little cream of tartar. Possibly replace the mozzarella with cream cheese.

Have had the Real Good pizza they sell in stores, they have it both with the cauliflower crust and the chicken crust. They ain’t real good though, lacking in the sauce and cheese. Quest pizzas better for those who don’t want to make it themselves.

Gotta admit, this IF/'low-ish' carb thing is working pretty well. I still probably eat to many carbs, but I've reduced my intake significantly. I'm back down to my college weight and feel and look great. Probably helps that I work out 5x a week.

Sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day really makes it easy to put on weight if you don't have a decent diet.

First thing I noticed when dropping carb intake was how much less bloated I felt throughout the day.

I had the pizza and cheese enchiladas. You think the pizza is bad. The enchilada may have been the worst thing I have ever tried to eat. It was so salty and nasty. Nothing could save it
