The Pelicans have an arguable top 3 player and are in the lottery every year! Is that what we're going for?
I wouldn't say Davis is top 3. He's more like 6th. Potential is all there though.

Hey, GM of the Future. That rebuild was not complete upon James' arrival. They still had to get Love. They also traded for JR Smith, Iman Shumpert, and Mosgov during the season. So where the **** do you get this young talent already in place idea?

Kyrie Irving is a lottery player.

Lebron and Kyrie...

But you said we need a COMPELTE TEAM. That's two players.

Kyrie is a lottery pick, meaning Cleveland doesn't get him with LeBron on the roster.

You're the one who is putting up those parameters, you fucking dorkchop.

My favorite part.

ChiSuxCity puts the parameters together for a rebuild...

We ask him to describe a team that succeeded with those parameters..

He comes back with "parameters are not necessary".

So the Bulls should tank, get the #1 pick, hope it pans out, then sign some unknown free agent in some undetermined year.

Sounds like you have this all figured out.

Technically the Bulls tried that route by getting the #1 pick in 2008. Just about everyone was saying Chicago was the best team to go to for the future and instead of any of LeBron Wade Bosh they ended up with boozer and bench mob.

Really that 2010-11 team just needed one more star . It never came.

Ummm, I would say Durant would probably be a better leader without Westbrook. Durant knows Westbrook is a top player and he has to let him do his thing which can lead him to being passive. But, make no mistake. Durant is absolute nightmare for any team to play and could lead any team to a deep run in the playoffs. Durant is unreal and will go down as one of the best players ever barring injury. Not to want him is laughable.
