I am enjoying The Strain.... what do you dislike about it if I may ask?

Our hero's lack of focus. "CDC medical emergency!! A newly discovered form of life threatening human existence! I gotta go to am AA meeting."

The last two episodes have been better, less home life drama more quality kills. Tyrant has also improved from the early episodes. I had high hopes for both shows and both went family drama early but are bouncing back late. Just not enough for a recommend yet.

I watched a couple of episodes, and her wig was really distracting. I'm pretty sure that the wig should have gotten an acting credit.

I'm pretty sure it could emote better.

A few have recommended a British sitcom called Black Books. Watched the first episode last night. Not even a chuckle from me.

Anyone watched this? Does it get better?

I watched it. It was okay. Isn't it by the same fella that did The IT Crowd and a couple of other funny ones?

I think you're right about IT Crowd. Have you watched? Is it worth a go?

I didn't really get into black books. The IT crowd i found to be hilarious at times. Favorite episode was when they went to a *** musical called "***."

I started recording the Strain. Mostly because I have a strange man-crush on Sean Astin. Interesting so far.

Speaking of Sean Astin, I wish Jeremiah was on Netflix. That was a good show.

Yeah his character was written that way, but the dude still seemed like a twat after the big reveal about what he really was.... IMO his character should have taken on a different demeanor and they should have done a better job of making him sound less like the nerdy twat he was playing before.

Well I think the point was he had played her husband for so long that a part of him actually liked it despite his protestations to the contrary. When dude had to merk that fake teacher chic and black cowboy dude, he was pretty ruthless about it.

The Americans is a great show, and they address the spies having kids in a very heavy way. I just deleted a sentence due to spoilers, this should be less spoilery. The end of the last season shows some very unexpected motives and consequences of having kids in that business. I'm not easily or often surprised by TV shows, this one got me good.

Ray Donovan is the best show with new episodes coming out right now. Season one was great, watch it.

Disappointed in The Strain and Tyrant.

Looking forward to the return of:
The Black List
Hannibal
And of course, GOT and The Walking Dead.

ok, ima give it another shot. Probably just didn't stick around long enough, sounds like.
