This is the big salary cap move that they could have made. I am not sure they do this unless they have something going on.

This is actually the easiest deal to do this with because it is so long.

Thought people decided that was Buster?

Lol, I don't have an opinion on that signing yet. Seems like a team friendly deal for a NB with some experience. His name is Buster tho, which is hilarious.

Was anyone listening to the Score this morning? Is Leveon Bell really a possibility? Or was that just pie in the sky talk? Is that the Big deal that people think may happen?

If so, that would be HUGE, and could shift the tide toward the Bears being the favorites in the NFC...

If just occurred to me regarding this restructure/Bell/Davis situation. Say Pace got the green light to go for Bell and this restructure was to clear space for him. If the Bears do land Bell, can they recant on Davis's contract? Technically he can't sign until tomorrow right?

Given his injury history and his last double digits sacks season was2014, I don't think Houston is as expensive as people think he'll be

Every season he projects double digit sacks he just hasnt had a full year of play. But he gets the job done we just need him to rotate in with Floyd for now...

That would really help build the Bears reputation around the league.

idk the answer to this, but I would assume once you have an agreement in place, it's kinda bush league to not honor that agreement. Maybe Davis had another offer with a different team who decided to move on when they heard he had an agreement with the Bears.

Yes they could, but you'd also lose your image among future FA's.

If we get bell, we need a backup RB anyways who isn't cohen. Mizzell isnt that neither is Nall. Coulda been a draft pick, instead its mike davis.

No we don’t back out of a deal in place not worth the reputation hit. Let’s say they do sign Bell and it’s the trade deadline and Davis is unhappy you trade him for a 6th or something. That’s the worst case scenario. Have a backup rb is not a bad thing, prefer it was a cheap mid round pick but whatever they dug their hole.

Jerry Angelo would have voided the Davis contract.

The dog ate the contract

Windows won't load

The fax machine is broken

We checked the wrong box

We thought we were getting the Hoosiers coach Mike Davis

Pick one, anyone.
