In death even a ****** bag can become a revered patron saint, can be loved and admired. We are so prone to speaking kindly about someone because they died, even if there were a total prick, which is absurd and useless. That person can't even appreciate your change of heart or change to become a better person. It's pretty ridiculous.

She was the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.

So I watched Red State over the weekend. I love Kevin Smith movies but this one just wasn't one of them. It felt too short and for me was not very entertaining.

I saw Bourne Legacy this weekend, while watching it I thought it was good, but they end I was disappointed. Basically nothing happen but 20 minutes of setup for the sequels but they stretched it into a 2 hour movies.

watched Bergman's THE MAGICIAN (1958) (von Sydow and other Bergman regulars). nice meditation on artifice/reality, truth, which whose truth, is their such a thing as the truth.

Definitely want to see this.

Saw the trailers on AOTS the other day and just couldn't look away... the actors they got and the story they're seemingly trying to tell just seems fascinating.

YES!! Looks fun.

Star packed though which can be problems but this one looks smart enough to hold. I love Woody Harrelson and I think it's because he doesn't wear himself out thin by doing too many films.

Plus a Tom Waites cameo? Sold sold sold

Tried to watch Battle Royale on netflix but couldn't force myself to watch it too the end. Rotten tomatoe meter was high for this film.

Watched Shaolin, which was alright. Subtitles ruin the flow of the film somewhat, but what are you going to do.

Saw the documentary Searching for Sugar Man yesterday and I was blown away. Loved it. Great storytelling, there was a sort of mystery to the story, interesting subject. It's about fleeting fame, the music industry, apartheid, the struggles of the working class, financial injustice, and the power of art/music/creation, etc. I mean, what more could you ask for?

In time. Good premise, horrible execution.

I totally agree... I had hoped it was going to be so much better than it really was. Really glad I avoided the theater and waited for HBO.

I just kept waiting for them to concisely answer questions laid out by the plot line, but instead they just robbed more time.

This is what happens when we continue to allow Justin Timberlake to act in movies. It should be outlawed. He can make his pop music and be on SNL, but that is it. No serious acting!

SCREW YOU! DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT MY JTIZZLE LIKE THAT! He should be in every movie. And so should Mila Kunis. With her clothes off.

I actually think his acting is pretty decent. I liked him in The Social Network and Alpha Dog. I think his acting is fine but his choice of roles is not.
