At this point Rose winning the MVP is more luxury than anything else. I'm sure he would like to just keep winning games and having this team get further into the playoffs than an individual award. Let LeBron keep winning MVPs and disappearing against the better teams in the league. MVPs mean shit if you don't win rings, and I'm sure any competitve NBA player would agree.

One thing I do know. If the BUlls would lose rose for any significant amout of time that team would be complete shit because he makes this team go on offense. Who's going to take the crunch time shots if he's gone? Deng? While he may have some decent guys at their position, Rose is the guy who makes the bulls come together. If Miami loses LeBron, they wouldn't be as good wouldn't be as good. But would arguably still be a playoff team with Wade and Bosh on that team. My big gripe with seeing LeBron and Wade on the list is that how the hell can you have two MVPs on the list? If LeBron is #1 wouldn't that negate Wade from even being on the list? Same with Westbrook and Durant. I think Durant is the MVP over westbrook. If Durant gets injured, you really think Westbrook can carry that team?

I think people have different meanings for the award. Most valuable player to me is who is the most important to his teams success. Some people think it's who's the best player in the league. While LeBron might be considered the best player in the leauge, is he really the most important player in the league?

i disagree, Derek Rose is playing like a MVP. He is creating great situations that have been putting the bulls in winning scenarios. He has a great attitude and presence. He is truly a leader.. and look at his stats. they speak for them self.

Yeah, he had half of those points in the first quarter...Indiana came back down 24 pts or something like that...and Lebron is the one who won it for the Heat in the fourth quarter...

Yeah but is LeBron even in the position to win the game if Wade doesnt get 22 first QTR points?

No offense but mentioning which qtr he got his points in is fn Special person. Points are points, they all add up to equal a final score.

if you want to give lebron all the credit for winning that indiana game. then give him all the blame for losing to boston again for the 3rd straight time going back to last season.

Fact: they would have won that game LeBron or no LeBron.

??? LOL...

Watch a game before you talk about what is fact and what is fiction...I watched the damn game. Wade did nothing in the fourth quarter scoring wise...Lebron led the team to victory down the stretch. Wade scored 31 of his 41 points in the first half. Yet in the third quarter the Pacers came back and took the lead.

And again, you should be very careful what you call fact and fiction...your opinions will NEVER be misconstrued for fact.

When the game was tied...what points were had in the first quarter no longer mattered. The game was still in doubt and at that time Lebron stepped up. Bosh did also.

What is fn Special person is bringing up that Wade scored 41 pts as if the second best player on a team that has a league MVP doesn't score 41 pts. Pippen, McHale, Worthy, all scored a bunch of damn points while teammates won MVPs. Hell, Deng scored 40 in a game this year.

Oh come on. I don't need to watch every game to know that in a game where Wade scores 41 and James scores 27 that there is not much at all to keep Wade from scoring 50+ and Bosh near 30.

If you want to keep make everything you say constructed as a fact then I see no problem with other people doing the same.

Fact: Miami > Indiana with or without LeBron.

That is the problem, you don't think you have to watch every game...or any of the game, but you come up with opinions that are over the top and past them of as "Fact:"

Fact: Lakers > Cavaliers...not Wednesday night though...

Fiction: Looking at statsheets and passing off your opinions of the game as fact.

Indiana has beaten the Heat before, in Miaimi this season. So your facts are not as important as reality, which is what usually makes your facts so.....fictional...

I'm pretty sure I know plenty about the NBA in general seeing as that's basically the only television I watch anymore. If I have nothing to do, then I watch, and it's been like that for a long, long time.

And I watched the entire 2nd half of that MIA-IND game back like 14 games into the season. They were a different team back then, and didn't play nearly as well together.

So you are saying that back then Miami was a better team than Indiana? That wasn't on your patented "FACT:" list?

You are pretty incredulous on your own facts, and not differentiating them with opinions to be criticizing anybody else's use of the word.

Back then, the Heat were the Miami Cavaliers. They played the same style LeBron was used to in Cleveland but with much lesser shooters. It seemed like the Heat were frustrated and the Pacers played with more energy so they won. And they had something like an 18 point lead towards the end. Their record was about 8-7 back then. And that is a pretty good indicator that the gap between MIA and IND back then was much smaller than it is now.

As for LA-CLE, the Cavs just got Mo Williams back and Anthony Parker finally looks healthy. Kobe Bryant is struggling with chills and aches and the rest of them besides Gasol look out of sorts. That upset was not so crazy to me. Look at how they were destroyed by CHAR.
