At this point Rose winning the MVP is more luxury than anything else. I'm sure he would like to just keep winning games and having this team get further into the playoffs than an individual award. Let LeBron keep winning MVPs and disappearing against the better teams in the league. MVPs mean shit if you don't win rings, and I'm sure any competitve NBA player would agree.
One thing I do know. If the BUlls would lose rose for any significant amout of time that team would be complete shit because he makes this team go on offense. Who's going to take the crunch time shots if he's gone? Deng? While he may have some decent guys at their position, Rose is the guy who makes the bulls come together. If Miami loses LeBron, they wouldn't be as good wouldn't be as good. But would arguably still be a playoff team with Wade and Bosh on that team. My big gripe with seeing LeBron and Wade on the list is that how the hell can you have two MVPs on the list? If LeBron is #1 wouldn't that negate Wade from even being on the list? Same with Westbrook and Durant. I think Durant is the MVP over westbrook. If Durant gets injured, you really think Westbrook can carry that team?
I think people have different meanings for the award. Most valuable player to me is who is the most important to his teams success. Some people think it's who's the best player in the league. While LeBron might be considered the best player in the leauge, is he really the most important player in the league?
